Ynyscedwyn Arms Hotel

Popped in on the off chance of a table for 3 on a Friday lunchtime and so glad they had one. The carvery was fantastic. Excellent value, at the time 3 meals a pint of Stella a latte and a coke £25.50. (July 2022) most definitely going again.

We have just had a two nights stay here. It was lovely. Rooms were spotlessly clean.The breakfast was spot on and their food was beautiful. And the lady who runs it was so pleasant and friendly .would definitely stay again. X

Lovely big family run pub and restaurant, had only booked an hour prior, warm welcome from Stephanie who asked us if we would like some drinks before we ordered.great choice of starters and mains. Asked the waitress what she would recommend and she said the home made chilli and rice was a favourite so I gave it a go. Food was tasty and plentiful and would definitely be going back. Set in the heart of ystrdyynlais by a beautiful river this place is a real gem.paid the bill and couldn’t believe the price for the 2 of us I had to ask was that each no she said that’s both.would really recommend this beautiful traditional pub/restaurant/hotel as it really does have a warming vibe it.

Great hotel in a fantastic location. The staff made me feel very welcome and the room was very clean and well presented. The food was very good and I would gladly stay there again.

Not my first time here, on every visit I have experienced a comfortable stay with great friendly service, good food both breakfast and meals in the Restaurant,over the years I have had some great family celebrations here.

The breakfast is delicious and generous portion with juice and coffee. Steph was incredibly helpful and welcoming and was so patient and thoughtful with my special needs child who has trouble with feeling confined and often takes a wander. She ensured all doors were closed downstairs so he could have a walk whilst we ate. She brought colours and paper for him. She made us feel valued as guests. The rooms were beautiful and the bed was very comfortable.

I wanted to give this hotel owner 5stars because even though I had to cancel my booking at the last minute, when I explained the reason they did not hesitate one moment not to charge the full booking as they had every right to do according to the terms and conditions. I might not have managed to stay with them yet but I will surely do in the future and recommend them every chance I get for their decency and professionalism. Thank you!
