Booked this hotel as a base for our snowdonia trekking
The staff were incredibly polite and helpful, especially the lady at the bar who helped me with some unsavoury wedding guests.
Dog friendly for small well-behaved dogs at £15 is extremely reasonable
Rooms a bit tired and outdated but still clean and presentable with lots of storage space, a TV and big windows for the hotter days.
Lovely hotel and will be returning for our next visit to North Wales!

The staff are the stars of the show here, fantastic customer service and very hard working. Although our room was dated, the TV is very small, it was clean and presentable. If you suffer with the heat, it might be best to ask for a fan, windows don't open a huge way and no air con. Lovely big fluffy towels. Food was very good quality and value for money. Great to be able to eat on site after a long day exploring the Welsh countryside. Loads of parking and great if you have a motorbike, you can park close to the reception. Perfect location for exploring North Wales.

The room smelt damp and musky and was very dated, with black mould in the bathroom, cobwebs, peeling paint, stains on the wall which looked to be tea/coffee that wasn't cleaned and stained carpet in the room, frayed carpets in the hallway. Due to the hotel being full there was no alternative room. Thankfully only for one night, irrelevant of the price a clean room was expected, really disappointing stay as we had our wedding reception in this hotel 28 years ago and thought it would be nice to stay again while visiting the UK.

Only stayed here for the one night easy to find though website directions misleading. Room clean and had good shower. Breakfast was chaotic no one greeted us and we were left to find our own table which had not been cleared. Cooked breakfast adequate but otherwise limited choice only filter coffee served. Would consider staying here again if price was right.

I attended an event dinner here. It was well run in their events room which appears to have been recently redecorated. Good tasty food, pleasant service & reasonable drinks options. Just watch out for the taps in the event/restaurant toilets... (Twist rather than push or sensor operated, and the hot water is very hot.)

We had a fabulous night at the Beaufort Christmas party night last night. Three course vegan meal which was the best vegan meal we have ever had! The staff were friendly and super helpful and it was excellent value for money. We would highly recommend.

Stayed here the night before a work conference I was delivering. Easy to find just off the main road, large car park. Check in from 1400 which is good. Rooms look a little dated, but clean and tidy, did the job. Free WiFi throughout the hotel and strong enough to hold a few video calls for work. Very reasonable price. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very warm.

If I could select 0 stars I would.

Stayed here for one night back in September. Room was horrible, there was black mold all around the window, felt cold and damp it just felt disgusting.

The bathroom wall had some body hair on it so it clearly hadn't been cleaned.

Breakfast next morning was average and edible.

I had no choice to stay here because I was in the area for a night and it wasn't myself who made the reservation.

If this is the standard for a hotel in Wales then I won't be staying anywhere in Wales again.
