Crown Hotel

Carmen and John were incredible hosts; they put a lot of love in this lovely hotel. We Highly recommend this place. Thank you!

We booked here for two nights as a relaxation getaway as a couple. We planned to do the dee valley walk to Llangollen.
Firstly we paid a little extra and had an amazing room. It’s immaculate and so friendly. Breakfast is continental and perfect to set you up for the day.
In the village you have two pubs, post office, bakers and a grocery shop along with sit down Indian restaurant and take away Chinese. It’s everything that you need.
John is so helpful and makes the place a pleasure to stay in.
Carmen is just the best host ever. So friendly and helpful and she remembers everyone’s name!

The hotel was spotless and the beds comfortable. Corwen was lacking in options for places to eat but the hotel was great. The owners are lovely.

Quirky place to stay .spread over 2 levels .rooms are big enough to have everything you need.little loud with rd noise but that didn't spoil out stay .lovey continental breakfast, bar was was only open for residents if requested, only one other bar in corwen Town.no food service in the evening but we were allowed to bring take away back to the hotel bar area. John the owner and his team of 2 were very helpful ,to try and make our stay the best possible.

Brilliant hotel to stay will deffo be staying there again me and the wife couldn't fault it very friendly staff room really clean 👌

Stayed here for 2 nights, the room was tiny but spotlessly clean, and with complimentary coffee tea etc, shampoos as you would expect. The front of house and basically everything involved in the Customer Service was run by Corina and James, bearing in mind the hotel was fully booked they were absolutely brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble, and it was obvious that they enjoyed their work, and were fabulous at it, but possibly over stretched. And I not saying that because of any reflection on their customer services, but mainly because they did not stop, they were constantly working, making sure everyone was happy, cleaning rooms, doing breakfasts, everything, with real professionalism. Could not fault them but felt a little sorry for them as they never moaned but did look tired bless them. Breakfast is continental style, but was lovely with lots of choice. I really liked The Crown, and thought our hosts were the nicest I've met in a long long time.

We stayed here prior to a 10k Trail Run in Snowdonia. The hotel was very accomodating of our personal requests. The rooms were clean and well decorated. Toiletries and towels were provided and were of a high quality. Overall the stay was very enjoyable and without any issues. I would stay here again of in the area.
