Attended a wedding at the venue. reception staff were friendly and efficient. We stayed in the Carreg room, which was had everything we needed, a safe, mini bar, luxury towels, dressing gowns and slippers. An ironing board and iron were also provided, with plenty of space for our clothes. Whilst mingling with other guests after the ceremony we were served exquisite canapés and drinks. The food at the reception was exceptional. Can't praise the chef highly enough. The food was excellent and the service impeccable. Well done to all the staff.

Such special personal touches - being met at the car upon arrival, our bags carried, ushered to reception, given a delicious homemade lemon drink and shown to our little cottage which was elegantly decorated with plenty of comfortable chairs. Nice toiletries, comfortable beds and free drinks in our fridge! Knowledgeable wine waiter. Breakfast was a credit to the hotel - absolutely the best!

Beautiful country hotel in secluded area but only 1 mile away the upmarket town of Narbeth.
Lovely cosy atmosphere with a number of lounges and restaurants. Beautiful real fires , friendly staff and great service.
The grounds are gorgeous too with a lake and beautiful country Vista's .
An absolute joy .

I don't think I can say anymore positive things that hasn't already been said in the other reviews!

Me and my wife were much very looking forward to our stay after reading the reviews and immediately even before the trip I got a good first impression after the very exchange of polite emails from the reception staff explaining the booking details before we arrived and checking if there were any needs.

When we were arrived, we were blown away with the hotel grounds, stunning interiors and the amazing garden suite that was given to us. Now we understand why the premium price and it was no doubt completely worth it!!

Like others have said, the friendly staff really do make this place, everyone from reception (Lucy & Gabrielle, hope remember correctly) to Laura at dining and all the table service staff were just amazing and made you feel special.

The stay & amenities in our room was def 5 star and the dinner/breakfast at the Artisan restaurant were simply excellent. We can't wait to try the Fernery on our return visit next time!

All in all, me and the wife can't wait to be back!

I would like to give The Grove 6 stars! We ended up booking very, very last minute when we couldn’t face the drive back to London from Tenby with our 5 month old. The staff sorted out our room super speedily with a cot and a mini bathrobe! The room was absolutely stunning- I couldn’t resist a quick bath after the baby had his before dinner! The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were divine. The decor of the entire hotel is utterly stunning and thoughtful from cosy arm chairs by the fire to the airy gallery upstairs!
Dinner was fabulous and we were able to enjoy it sans baby as the monitor was able to reach the restaurant from the room!
We had a fantastic Hungarian wine with dinner- recommended by the sommelier and delicious cocktails pre and post by the fire! The Welsh cheese plate was exceptional and I will think about the truffled honey for some time! Breakfast was equally fantastic.
The staff are all wonderful and nothing was too much of an ask.
Our visit was completely unplanned but we have already discussed our return visit! Genuinely one of the best hotels I have stayed in!

From the moment we were welcomed at this beautiful hotel we knew our stay was going to be fantastic. Vicky and her team looked after us impeccably and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in the wonderful Beca Suite which was amazing; four poster bed and roll top bath. Food was outstanding, both the evening meal in the relaxed Artisan room and breakfast the following day. The Grove and the staff were amazing and we can't wait to return.
