It's a place where laughs are plenty, the beer is cold and there's always sport on the box. Friday and Saturday is band night, probably the best place to see a band in the valleys oh and before I forget there's a happy hour.

It's great venue, lovely people and staff. Great prices .... Major down side is the toilets, no disabled, gents only has 1 cubicle (no lock, no light) venue is up about 25 steeeeep stairs and toilets are down.

Turned up at 22.10. Door locked. Nobody would open the door, despite people looking at us through the window (there was a sign saying door locked at 22.30, but it was much earlier than this!)
There were even people outside with wristbands who had paid money to get in, they had gone out for a cigarette, and weren't allowed back in!
Complete waste of time. Went to Cymmer Club where everyone was friendly and welcoming.

Its a local pub, ten mins walk from porth town centre. NOT AN ACTUAL HOTEL. Its very basic, but it serves the function of a place for locals to meet and have a drink while watching sports. Dont expect anything special.
Saying that, the drinks were cheap and the upstairs area is reasonably spacious for events and the location hostes plenty of concerts.

This is the premier location for local bands! Just seen Joe Satellites and they were fantastic. Great local beers, great venue.

Saw Moretallica, great night! First time I'd been here. Staff really helps and friendly and good atmosphere overall. Room for gig was upstairs (steep narrow) so may be difficult depending on mobility. No locks on toilets, but felt very safe and other people in queue to watch the door!

Great beer.
Ike Willis has played there. Twice.
Need I say more about the pedigree of the place
