A wonderful place to stay. The views are stunning, the owners are helpful and friendly and of course the animals make the whole visit an even greater experience. Throwing the ball for Ben and Joe became part of the daily excersises and ben even brings it to you in the hot tub. I defiantly rate this as a place to stay for any and all.

Not very much to do there but good for a weekend break. The dogs was extremely friendly and kind always wanted to play for a few hours. If you intend on staying here please ask for the code to their gate because me and the family was stuck outside the gate for 15 minutes due to they didn't give us a cold and didn't tell us there was a code.

Visit on an annual basis and love it - beautiful, peaceful surroundings, friendly hosts, stream to paddle in, friendly dogs too! All amenities that you might want plus some - hot tub is amazing. Spacious and entertaining space.

Absolutely wonderful cottage. Great place to escape.
We were group of 5 and there is just so much space here.
There's a games room with darts, a pool table and piano. A very well equiped kitchen with 2 huge tables and a cozy snug. There's a huge loft room with a woodburing fire aswell as 5 bedrooms and a sofa bed in the larger living room.
The hot tub was an added bonus too.
The owners live next door and are very helpful and friendly but give you plenty of privacy and there are 2 beautiful friendly and very well behaved working dogs who we loved.
We are already planning a return trip as we didn't want to leave when our 4 night break was coming to an end. Absolute bliss here.

We had an amazing time here. Loved the animals especially the dogs Joe and Ben. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. The grounds are beautiful as is the hot tub. The piano was a surprise bonus and very welcome. Hope to return.

Bailey Cottage is a wonderful, well-appointed rustic cottage in the picturesque Brecon Beacons. At less than 10 minutes from Hay-on-Wye, access to the home of second hand bookshops is a breeze. You will be greeted on arrival by your hosts Joe and Ben, and their human owners David and Sharon, who are extremely welcoming and accommodating. I cannot recommend a stay here highly enough.
