Very clean and decent hotel. Rooms are bit small but they are super clean, tidy. Rooks has a table and chair to work with and nice comfy bed. Free parking. There is a McDonald’s and KFC next door. Also subways if you fancy.

Rooms are of good quality, food offering is very limited. Breakfast served in chaffing dish was not hot. If your looking for an evening meal there is a nice harvester on the other side of the road, if your happy with a pizza the hotel was offering this.

Good location, usual clean room. Plenty of parking. KFC, Mc D around & Harvester 5 minutes away. Can't fault anything. Review updated & reduced 1 * because - 1. even after hanging the please clean my room tag to the doorknob, rooms remained untied. 2. There was a short circuit in one of our rooms & the electric kettle stopped working along with other lights. They partially fixed it but for electric kettle, had to send multiple reminders (had aged family members & it was autumn, so they needed constant supply of warm water to drink).

Had a plumbing issue in one of the rooms and had to wait for a day to reallocate. Apart from that, great room. Has a Starbucks in the lobby and is near a fuel station and snack chain stores.

Very clean tidy rooms. Adequate space. All necessary facilities available. Ample parking. KFC,McDonald,Harvester, Motorway service all around the entrance.

Shocking service from a receptionist that quite obviously didn't give a toss. They can't take payment over the phone from my employers and want us to send card details by email! Very secure! Complete jobsworth at reception. His attitude was probably down to the fact that I'm English. We've have stayed at the Premier Inn if it was available. Usually Best Western receptionists have higher standards than this and aren't xenophobes.

I need to be fair here, this is a budget hotel, and we knew this as we booked. The rooms are compact, but functional and clean. The bathoom is particularly tight. The rooms are not serviced during the stay unless requested, this is becoming very normal these days. It may be an idea to leave enough brew making paraphernalia for the whole stay... instead of me having to request that I need some more, which worked one day and not the another. The hotel it's self is kept clean and tidy and there is an ample car park. EV chargers, these are available but be warned, one you share these bays with the disabled, yes that is right, someone decided it would be a good idea to place the EV chargers, at the disabled bays. Two comes the actual charge, it is a flat fee of £12.50, regardless of how much charge you require or receive. The speed of this charge is 3.5kWh, not much better than using a 13A socket, there was not enough time to charge my car overnight, what's more once charging there you don't free up the bay because you're not fully charged. On my final night I could not, charge the car as both bays had disabled drivers on them, you can hardly ask them to move can you? The converse is probably true if two of the three disabled bays are taken up by cars charging, where does this leave the far more important disabled driver, because the bays are occupied by EVs?

They have sent me a penalty notice for parking in their car park and staying the night. The untrained staff took my vehicle registration but did not inform me that I had to enter it into any device. I contacted them only to be told that they will not help and I need to use my own time and resources to get the penalty sorted. Very happy to take our money but not helpful at all with giving the correct information to paying visitors.
