Amazing Hotel which we have stayed at for 15 years plus and our dog recently. The staff are amazing and very helpful and a pleasure to know old and new staff over the years. See amazing changes also while renovating the hotel. Worth a stay for a short weekend or more....and I don't have to cook breakfast which is a added bonus too!

The room was adequate but the bed was old and noisy with springs protected by a thin mattress topper. Bedding was clean as were towels. The shower was hot but the tiles had some black mould. The window would not stay open and had to be jammed.

The breakfasts were fine but evening meals a disaster. There was nothing fresh everything was cooked from frozen. Generally food was tasteless. Steak and kidney pudding was just thick gravy with no meat . Fish was thin and not white. Pork was frozen, tough and brown coloured, chewy with a lot of fat. Frozen roast potatoes were very poor. Sweets were poor quality. Overall the standard of food was totally unacceptable although it was served hot.

Staff were reasonably friendly and service was fast.

I would not recommend this hotel at any price.

A great dog friendly hotel right on the front in Rhyl great friendly staff and you can see they have been giving it a make over...... Next time would be good for comfy beds and try to sound proof the rooms!!!!!! Impossible task........ otherwise myself and the family had a fab time. The hotel doesn't have enough parking but if you can get on it the pay and display behind is best. The is a good hotel great value very spacious rooms continue the good work we will come and see you again soon.

Classified as a budget hotel. Very clean and all amenities available. Comfortable. No complimentary toiletries but not detrimental to facilities. Meals ok. Good selection for each course. Want a budget hotel then would recommend. On see front. Lift available to 3 floors. Staff very friendly, efficient. Family run concern as I understand it.

Well, for starters. If you intend on bringing your loving pet, please be aware that when they advertised pets allowed-fees may be applicable. It's a definite £7.50 per each night. Obviously, because we love our dog molly, we were in a position where we paid. In future, we intend on contacting the hotel directly in future. Another thing, the manager at the time came across quite patronising and a lack of customer service. The room we are currently in is an absolute risk with health and safety due to the lack of security within and can open up fully where a person could easily fall out of. I have provided a couple of photos to show this. Thanks

Told our room was on floor3 then we had to carry our cases up another flight of stairs. Beds lumpy, no heating, pillows flat, shower cubicle minute and no room between the toilet and sink. Food mediocre. No tea provided with evening meal. Staff very nice though

I can't say enough good things about the Westminister hotel in rhyl. The place was absolutely spotless. The staff and owners were so welcoming and helpful. They really could not do enough for you day or night.
Despite being so close to the town centre the hotel was always quiet and the staff and owners maintained the outside as well as inside. I stayed there with my 6 children while heavily pregnant with baby number 7. The staff and owners made what was a really difficult situation for my family a lot easier than it could have been. I 100% reccomend staying here the service is brilliant!!!! I would give it 10 stars if Google would let me

My stay at this hotel was nearly 2 years ago, so conditions might have changed.
However the stay at this hotel was so dramatically bad that it bears putting on here.
The hotel was very shabby and the safety was very poor. We found appliances with expired PAT tests, but worst of all a sash window fell on and broke my fiancee's fingers. This had to go to court to get settled. The blase attitude to safety and customer well being is appalling.
Credit to most of the staff, everyone bar the Manager was amicable and pleasant. Shame the manager is so patronising.
For your own safety, stay away.
