Travelodge Swansea Central

The rooms are now very streamlined. It's clean and everything but they are trying to save money. There's a hand pump for body & hair wash, and for the hand soap. There's no fridge, so don't buy anything that you need to keep overnight. The shower if your not careful will fall on you. The parking is fine- its parking for £7 for 24 hours. Sunday its free. Good spot- right in the centre. The staff are really nice and friendly though. Would recommend.
Oh and the checkout is at 12pm. If you want late checkout, you need to tell them the day before.

Great location and amazing views from 6th floor. Room comfortable but dirty, dust every where floors not clean and hair in shower. Although renovated quality and attention to detail was not great. Lifts dark and made horrendous noise..
No tea spoons at breakfast had to ask for. Breakfast was okay.

We had a corporate booking for the weekend. The rooms were very good, clean and big. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly.
The only issue is the location. It is right at the town center were you find lots of bars and restaurants, but it is noise all night long. We had the seagulls noise all night long and the people leaving the parties and bars making a lot of noise that from the 3rd floor we could hear from our bedroom. Even the rooms from the back are noise as there is a car park and echoes all noise also.

Just been here 5 minutes. Really stuffy room. Stingy, stingy, stingy with tea and coffee, only one sachet each. My biggest gripe is the parking. Not funny in the middle of the afternoon having to park on the top storey of a car park where 24 hour ticket runs out at midnight. Then having to lug all your luggage all the way down several flights of stairs. Was not clear that parking was not provided. Have since made alternative arrangements for parking. Whether I last the course of 3 nights of this is another matter.

Location is ideal, services weren't great, room basic, breakfast basic.... No cleaner to clean 3 rooms even when requested more than once. Apparently they only clean after 7 days when guest are staying. Nonsense they did not want yo clean our rooms for some reason.
So many breakfast plates filthy, including hair found. Requested more clean plates at least twice at breakfast. Coffee machine & water machine needs a Deep clean. Upon last day leaving somehow i woke up with my eye swallow like it had been infected during the night. Such a shame as its a great central location and Swansea is lovely, Travelodge need to reflect this better.

Very reasonable priced, staff are very friendly. Well placed for the centre of Swansea and the main roads.
The breakfast has a wide choice and as much as you can eat!

The room hadn't been cleaned properly as there was a bottle of deodorant left on the floor. The bathroom shower curtain smelled damp and fusty and the toilet didn't flush properly. The soap dispenser didn't work. The floor needed a good hoover as there were bits all over it.
The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. We didnt get any clean cups the following day or replacement tea, coffee, sugar etc. I paid extra for breakfast which was cold and dried up, very poor quality food.
The only good thing about this hotel is the location. I will never use a travel lodge again as this was not even cheap.

Room was decent however… As usual unfortunately they don’t seem to know what a hoover is upon arrival I discovered a cat biscuit on the bathroom floor which is ironic when they charge £20 per pet for “Additional Cleaning” I can confirm I had no animals with me, The staff struggled to crack a smile apart from the lady who checked me in and the keycard stopped working twice or three times daily (inconvenient to say the least) Also the shower gel dispenser was empty, Would stay again however they could definitely improve
