The beds and pillows only good for the tip. I could feel every spring coil, the pillows flat and solid no life left in them. The bedroom furniture falling to pieces. Not a good night's sleep at all! The bathroom was the best part.

1st of all the bed was only good enough for the tip , the base of the divan was broken so the mattress, sunk in to it . 2nd we asked do they do a breakfast got told no but the morning we left they were serving breakfast , and 3rd the staff we saw were very rude , we handed the keys back and didn't even get. Thank you

I really enjoyed my stay. Very clean room, comfortable bed and quiet. I was worried from reading the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very flexible with my plans as they changed. I have absolutely no complaints and would stay here again if I ever find myself back in Newport.

Hotel needs some TLC, but it was clean. Shower was broken so had to hold it to have a shower. Pillows are terrible again lack of sleep due to this. Staff need some people skills. But did help us with our situation. Unfortunately the rooms aren't sound proof and we had noisy people while there. So lack of sleep infact left in early hours due to this. Didn't have full English only had continental and it was okay. Would I stay here again sorry but no!

Recently refurbished. Clean and tidy property, good parking. nice breakfast. Situated on the main road, perfect for contractors. 2 minutes walk to the pub 6 minutes walk to a curry house

Functional guest house. Clean to a good standard. Needs better signs outside to help guests find it in a crowded terrace.

Basic, but clean, nice shower in room 13. Difficult to see house or accomodation as no lit signage on busy main road. Warm, informative welcome would've been nice but more like DIY! There's more to b& b than just to provide facilities. Customer service is lacking.

Initially arrived last night to sign in door saying back in 10 minutes. I phoned them and they came straight away. Friendly staff. Hotel and room very clean ,well prepared. Breakfast cooked as requested. All in all very good.
