Mac was the perfect host, as I was away before breakfast service he ensured I had packed lunch instead. The hotel is sited about 5-10 minutes from Cardigan it was an ideal location for where I was working.
The food in the restaurant was fantastic with friendly service. Well worth a visit.

Spotlessly clean. Very comfy bed. Fabulous breakfast lovely hosts. My husband and I stayed here for two nights and couldn’t fault a thing. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Only sorry we didn’t have an evening meal

Lovely hotel situated in a very good location. Very clean rooms. The breakfast was superb. There was a lovely and cosy garden area to enjoy a drink. Overall excellent service. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. Should we visit the area in the future we will definitely stay at Flambard Hotel.
We highly recommend this accommodation

This guest house was worth every penny. The rooms were very clean, the service friendly and polite and the whole experience absolutely delightful. Will definitely be staying here again.

Update Aug 2021: Stayed here again in the downstairs disability room (wet room, easy access to the car park separate from the rest of the hotel) with our daughter who has special needs. Lovely hospitality again, with a great understanding of our needs as a family. Very happy to see that the owners survived the lockdown, they deserve it.

Update Aug 2022: Third time staying here.....that should speak for itself.

Overall I would recommend the hotel. I felt it was more suited to visitors who want to get out and about rather than stay inside the hotel. It would be good if you wanted to use the hotel as a base from which to go walking, exploring in the area. The cook your own steak in the restaurant was good fun and the food was tasty and very well presented, we really enjoyed our meal. The bar was cosy, there was a good selection of drinks and the cocktails were great. The decor is fairly traditional and the room was spacious with a good en suite.

The family run hotel is amazing! Rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly
clean.
The hot stones menu is absolutely the best meal I have had in my life seriously! Mack and his son are fantastic hosts a real gem of a hotel.Found by chance whilst visiting family in Tan y Groes. Thoroughly recommend this lovely small hotel.

Hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. One of our group was Vegan but always had full cooked breakfast each day. The food in general was superb as we had evening meal on arrival. Rooms were generous size, well stocked and very comfortable. Large outdoor garden with plenty of seating, beautiful views. Would highly recommend.
