Very nice for small intimate wedding, up to around 40 daytime guests. Very nice 3 course meal after ceremony, beef was superb. Evening buffet plentiful and delicious. We had a room for the night and full breakfast in morning. Both spot on. Staff couldn’t do enough for us. Small bar, and drinks a bit steep.

We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we stepped through the door. A very comfy bed, excellent breakfast and wonderful service. Steve was a delight and has a wonderful sense of humour. Thank you.

First visit to wales for a wedding and what a great stay we had!.. Customer service fantastic, such a warm welcome from chef marius and lovely lady kept our room so a clean/tidy. The bed was very comfy too.

Well! Where can I start Steve rang me to see how I was and my estimated arrival and was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was quiet due to the day and time of year but Steve made me feel relaxed and even offered a drink from the bar on arrival but I dont drink unfortunately. Steve asked my preference to a bath or a shower and gave me a choice of rooms. He speaks to you by name which is a lovely gesture. After a lovely nights sleep I came down for breakfast and was greeted by Marius, and what a super chap, true gentleman! The one thing that struck me was the passion and dedication he had when I was the only guest that morning. He laid a full spread on for me and everything was fresh. The milk was chilled, the coffee ground and the breakfast was absolutely done just like I asked for it. The service I received was perfect and more so. To say I was the only guest and they went to all that trouble just for me showed me that both Steve and Marius are just a cut above excellent. Ample parking great food and a comfy nights sleep in a peaceful location what more can I say. I'm not sure they market themselves online at the moment as Marius was taken aback when I showed him how to see his reviews online lol. These guys have passion and certainly went the extra mile for me. Get yourself online Marius and you'll have wedding parties queuing at the door !!! Thanks again Jon

Excellent small hotel (5 rooms) with superb friendly staff who are interested in their guests. Food is well presented and tasty.

What a beautiful old, sympathetically restored Victorian mansion. Some lovely features retained, and bought bang up to date with the amazing food presented by Marius. We had a warm, friendly welcome and the food was fabulous

Clearly shows how much heart Marius puts into this place and his services. He even went out of his way to drop me off to my destination. His customers love him. Marius is a legend.
