We go here when my wife and I are visiting family in Cardigan as this is their local. Good homely honest food well served by friendly staff. The barman (James) is very friendly and welcoming. My wife says the wine is okay I think the Guinness is alright. A family pub.

Me and my family were looking for a place to have lunch and we stumbled across this place. Inside, as we sat down it seemed like an okay place, but after we ordered the food a group of people came in and started to get annoying. They were laughing loudly, talking alot, and overall they were just making us uncomfortable. After the long wait for food, it finally arrived. The food was... Ok. But it wasn't the best. Wouldn't recommend coming to this pub with your family.

A lovely quant traditional pub. They don't have rooms to stay here anymore. The staff are really friendly. Food here is really good and homemade so very tasty. Definitely worth a visit.

Not worthy of 1 star...very rude..ordered coffees and a pint for Dad..rude man said “get that dog out” (tiny mini breed in my arms) “get out the back with it” he ordered me... Terrible way to speak to your paying customers...he’s apparently known to be a pig headed arrogant rude person...I left the drinks needless to say....please no one use this pub...it deserves to be closed with no trade,, they don’t deserve it!!

We were here for the funeral tea after my Sisters funeral , James the barman is first class such a lovely man and very friendly when we visit my family we always pop in here for a quite drink .
