A lovely setting to eat fresh, locally sourced food. Good friendly service, and quiet surroundings. We had a warm Welsh welcome when we arrived without a reservation and were seated promptly. The food was lovely and enjoyed by kids and adults alike. We will visit again!

Absolutely lovely host, Deluxe room was gorgeous, extremely comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was great and options available for specific dietary requirements (English Breakfast/Continental/Gluten Free). Nice open fire, drinks available. Good access to local bars, restaurants and castle. Host greeted us with a bottle of champagne and chocolates.

Amazing host! Lovely hotel, bed was comfortable and feather pillows. Perfect distance for driving between locations max of 30 minutes drive to a location! Breakfast was great and accommodating for all needs. Couldn't fault it!

The setting is beautiful, and is worth a visit. We were there for a wake, and found the bar understocked. On a hot day we couldnt purchase a cold coke. Only diet and zero versions on offer. As someone sllergic to artificial sweeteners, this was disappointing..

This hotel is just stunning. It is bursting with character & the decor is so relaxing. Our room was very peaceful & I cannot explain how comfortable the bed was! Stayed in a branded hotel the night before & the bed was the worst so this was luxury in comparison. The greatest part was the staff. So lady was so incredibly welcoming and friendly. The perfect reason why you should choose the boutique hotels over the big brands. Didn’t have time to try the breakfast but can imagine it would be just as good. Thank you so much. Would stay here again! Beautiful stay

A bit dated and dusty.. Shame because there is beauty behind all the decor and atmosphere. Food was nothing special- catering, so they didn't prepare it themselves. However the service was poor - not enough plates at the table, no spoons for tea/cake. No sugar. Had to ask for everything.
