On arrival staff very friendly and very helpful. Room very scruffy, paint peeling off the bathroom door, marks all over the walls & doors. Room over looking the busy road outside, could hear nothing but sirens going up and down. TV wouldn't work, had very few channels, was supposed to be a smart TV but none of apps worked. Bedside lamps kept overheating and burning out, couldn't open window more than an inch, very warm and stuffy in the room. Lucky not to break your neck in the bathroom after showering, it was very slippery. No flannels or anything to wash with towels in place. Bed made tidy but pillows were like breeze blocks and quilt was very thin. Not very nice place for a good night sleep. Breakfast had very limited choice, needed a disc cutter to cut the bacon. I know its a budget hotel but honestly? You don't even get what you pay for I wouldn't recommend.

A quiet place. Although it’s a little bit far away from city centre, since Swansea is not that large, it’s still easy to walk to city centre, the castle, the beach etc from there.
For anyone who wants to stay there, just remember to bring your own shower slippers, teeth brush etc. The hotel seems not to provide these things.

Disappointed on our 2nd morning at breakfast no fresh fruit or fruit salad available, apparently none came in on delivery. Did not realise this hotel allowed dogs to stay, you could hear then barking in room as you walked along corridor. We stayed on the 2nd floor. Would not stay again at this hotel.

Great hotel and excellent location, especially for the price of the room for a night. Normally stay here when on business and it is a great place to do so as it is easy access to Swansea.

Two things I would improve however is having a bath instead of a shower, although I know this would not allow for as quick of a turn over for rooms.

And to not limit the heating, I have stayed before and there was not a cap on heating, stayed a week ago and there was a limit. The radiator is right by the window, so does not heat as much as the room up as it should.

Such polite staff at reception a credit to the company. Was served by a lady with an Irish accent. So cheerful and polite. Thank you for your amazing welcome

As always a heartfelt welcome from the staff. Room was exceptionally clean and spacious. A short walk into town. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. We have stayed at the Ibis Swansea a number of times and have never been disappointed. Thank you for a warm welcome and wonderful stay.

I used the Electric Vehicle Charging bay for less than an hour. I then received a £100 parking fine. I have since learnt that if you register the car at reception you won’t get a fine. I called reception and the very helpful lady cancelled the fine. Please be aware:)

Good budget hotel, unfortunately I didn't receive an invoice due to leaving earlier than expected. Unfortunately I will no longer be staying in this hotel due to Accor rewards taking away my hard earned points over the years.
