David Wilson Homes - Wigston Meadows

Beautiful homes that are well built. Upon move in, house had lots of snagging issues, but to the site's credit, they acted very promptly to rectify all matters. Needless to say, site & marketing staff are absolutely brilliant, exceedingly helpful, caring and professional people, whom we cannot fault in the slightest. David Wilson Homes regional office should take note how exceptional their entire site and marketing staff are at Wigston Meadows as they are to be commended for exceeding expectations.

Unfortunately, where David Wilson Homes let themselves down is NOT their staff, but their abysmal communication and utter lack of response to enquiries through their main customer care line and regional office; they don't respond to postal letters, complaints, or even general comments as one would expect. Even when chased via phone, email or postal letter there's no response-- and if you ring up, you're told via the 0333 number that a regional manager will ring back within 48hrs, but they sadly never do.

If the lack of communication with the regional division of David Wilson Homes hadn't been so exceedingly repetitively frustrating, they'd have absolutely had 5* stars due to their phenomenal site/marketing staff, who absolutely DO deserve a 5* rating.

So DWH regional division, get your act together so you don't let your fabulous team over at Wigston Meadows down in future!

Very nice houses and a brilliant site manager in Henry. But the people who are setting the prices are too greedy. In Jan 2020 plot 367 a Moorecroft house type was priced at 515k, In Nov 2020 plot 353 a Moreton house type(Inside is same as the Moorecroft) is price at 575k. In the current climate when people are losing their jobs, how can you justified a price increase of 60k in less than a year?

Good houses but very little garden space

I moved into a beautiful new home on the Wigston Meadows Developmemt in March this year. Our experience from the moment we walked into the marketing suite has been nothing short of exemplary. The sales team were so professional and so very helpful during our while journey. Constant updates throughout the whole process with even going that extra mile to provide updates and information given the restrictions and barriers that were in place due to the Covid Lockdowns.
We were able to watch and also design our beautiful home when it was 5 bricks high through to it being fully completed. They constantly provided reassurances when we were quite worries and anxious about finances, exchange and legal procedures. Marrica Ritchie was our adviser and she took complete ownership of our journey and I don't think that the whole process would have gone as smoothly as it did with out her. Even now nearly 5 months since we moved in she keeps in touch and asks if everything is okay with our home.
I would also like to mention that the site team have also been instrumental during the whole process and are always a stones throw away and always willing to support us. No matter how big or small our issue may be. Sometines we just want some advice on things that we would like to do. They are always so helpful.
I would highly recommend David Wilson Homes and especially the Wigston Meadows Development to anybody who wishes to have a 5 Start experience when acquiring a 5 Star New Home.
