Muri Indian Restaurant

My husband and I love this restaurant, it's our go to place for a curry. That is why we asked them to prepare some food for our wedding, and it was a great hit! We ordered a lot of sharing platters and different rice, and served it in a sort of buffet style, and everyone loved it! We have been to the restaurant multiple times, and the food is always excellent, and the staff are always friendly! Would recommend to anyone who loves Indian food!

The place is really nice - a bit different to your average curry house and we found the menu quite interesting as well. They have duck! And if I recall, venison.

The food was great, the service was great. Apparently it's a small chain, but it definitely doesn't feel like one.

And the loos are nicer than a good many restaurants.

We tried a variety of starters, grilled meats, and curries. It was all mild in chilli and spice, the lamb chops were tasty but chewy, and it was all a bit sweet. The bondas were the best bit for us.

This Restaurant is a gem. The food was really, really good - and 6 stars if possible. They seemed a bit overwhelmed by how busy they were on Friday night, initial drinks order was a bit slow / but a great menu which wasn’t a generic version of Indian food. My Coorgi Lamb (Coconut) was delicious, the giant prawns were huge and such a friendly atmosphere.

Not great I'm afraid. 1st time here so hopefully it's just a one-off or it's better for regulars. Unfortunately, being new to the area and a potential regular, they've just lost some business. Chicken main had 5 pieces of chicken and side was only half a container full at most. A main, rice and side for 2 left us still hungry. Of course we could buy more but for the same price we can go down the road and get lots more. Taste was ok, curry didn't have substance, as I say 5 pieces of chicken with a 'soupy curry with very little depth. We will return as it's very local and will remove this review - as I say first time there and willing to try again. Notably the staff seemed very nice

Well, we have been here before and noticed that the quality of their food is getting worse in the past several years. Our last experience was horrible. basically their Tikka Masala dishes were not properly done and were not thick as you anticipated. The rice was also not properly prepared. I gave two stars just because of our old time good experiences here.

I celebrated my nomination last night in this delicious restaurant. I am glad to say that we had a cool evening and the restaurant was no doubt the reason for the happy celebration. The team cooperated in a very nice manner, the meals were delicious and my friends were so happy. We shall no dout come back again for more joyful events. thanks very much.
