Dosa Kada - Croydon

Delicious food, freshly juiced apples, friendly staff.... Dosas to die for, sublime Uttapam and finger licking sauces. Definitely coming back for more!! The food was so good, I couldn't wait to take the photos, will do next time!!

Lemme outline the pros so can get over the good part first.
The place can be identified easily from a distance. The restaurant is clean at the dining area. The staff seemed less energetic (on a weekday).

Now the cons
Food is average, they have taken vegetable biriyani a bit too serious just had carrots and potatoes in it nothing else. There's no difference between a Dum biriyani and a vegetable biriyani apart from the price. Literally served the same biriyani in two plates.
Food is very oily. They took around 30mins to serve food.
Food is ridiculously expensive for the quality.
The toilets are not great and maintained. Had a unpleasant smell.
Bottom line is not recommended.

I’m a regular customer here and on Diwali I ordered two masala dosa. One dosa arrived as a plain crepe with no filling - I paid over £7 for this! When I called to complain, I was left on hold for over ten minutes while the staff were talking to customers and eventually they cut the phone. I have since ordered from here again and I left a message in the order note detailing what happened last time. They failed to acknowledge the message and I yet to relieve an apology and a refund! This service has made me want to take my money to another establishment.

Fast service, quality taste good hospitality. All menus taste best. Excellent food... Each and every single dish I tasted was the best in its own cuisine... Great hospitality...

One of the best south Indian restaurants i had tasted in uk . The restaurant was clean and neat with good atmosphere it feels like having food in india . The taste was great and specially enjoyed the tea which served in a traditional dabara set which made a tears from the eyes , overall its worth for money and had some good time with people there❤️.

A really beautiful experience. A must go to place to relish South Indian delicacies. The sambar-vada was a highlight dish here. Usually a little crowded at peak hours, however the staff handle things really well and smooth, leaving no errors. Enjoyed my visit here.

Great restaurant to dine in if you are after authentic South Indian food. Good ambience and good reception by the front end team. Only thing that could have been better is the spacing between the seats that were bit cramped. Would have been great if that can be taken care. Also do make sure reserve a table as we went without it but the team were kind enough to accommodated us.

The food is amazing! We couldn't be more happy with this amazing find in west Croydon .You will not leave there hungry or disappointed. This was our first time and will not be out last! The food is very authentic, cooked to perfection and the staff are just incredible.Please pay them a visit ,you will not be disappointed.
