A nice restaurant to have yummy foods , good ambience, we tried bhuna & tawa dishes, both are served hot and tasted medium spicy.

We were made very welcome and service was excellent. No rush and asked if we would like a pause between starters and main course. Recommended as portions generous. The food was first class and as well as the normal Indian dishes there were some different ones. The ambience is good helped by the friendly banter from waiting on staff. Highly recommended.

Super evening with good friends!
Food was beautifully presented and delicious. We all chose the Pistachio Icecream - so relieved it didn't run out!!

This restaurant occupies the ground floor of the very tired looking Heritage Hotel, and I believe is independent of it because the standards set in this restaurant are of the highest order. It was an extremely busy Friday night but the service and food were excellent. There was a good value three course menu with many choices. Something for everyone. Well worth a visit.

Disappointed with this restaurant tonight. Table booked for 13 of us, rang up to confirm day before. We were seated and handed out menus with price list. Ordered drinks. Chose our food. Only when the waiter came over to take our food order did he tell us all the pricing on set menu was incorrect and we would be charged an extra £2 per head! We disagreed, explained it wasn't legal etc. Asked to speak to manager, he came over. Said he did not have time to change menu or website prices! We told him he's breaking the law. He wasn't bothered. I suggested he could have drawn over the price ir bought some tape to cover the price?
We asked for free poppadoms. Got told no.
Our meal was satisfactory. When waiters brought food over they shout out the orders like they are on a market stall, hand the plates to you rather than place on table. We were missing two rice dishes. We asked for them as each couple were sharing their nan or rice. The bill arrived, over £300. Charged us the extra £2 per head plus an extra £5 for rice, but we never had surplus rice! We paid the bill, definitely no tip. Took a long time for the coffees to arrive. It was a good meal. 8/10 but for rule breaking, attitude ti the customer, breaking the law is a 1/10.

We’ve visited three times & every time we had lovely food with good staff, until last night. The waiter’s were to eager to please so much so when clearing our table after our first course our waiter managed to drop a tray of condiments down my jacket & a ladies coat who was sitting behind me. No apologies only a poor attempt to clean up the jacket that now needs dry cleaning. We’ll probably go back but please be more caring towards your customers.

Really friendly staff, great food and service. Let us dine quite late after a last minute call. Thank you again.
