Lovely Indian, customer service is top notch, I would suggest booking but they do accommodate walk ins too as we was. You won't regret it, the food is lovely, and can't fault their service. We will be back again.

Against my principal I have to give one star which it doesn't warrant. Unfortunately the worst experience I have ever had, we have been before several times. Not a great choice in Witney now. We walked in on a Sunday at 18:30 for the banquet asking for a table for 2, yes we could accommodate you. We paid the usual extra for the poppadoms and ordered a couple of drinks. Felt really pressured and intimated to order..... When we did we were informed that we had to pay full price as we hadn't booked. I questioned why this was the case as nothing anywhere to state it. After saying that we would be leaving it was even more intimidating staff starting posturing I felt really threatened. We left and paid against what I really felt £17.95 for 2 drinks and poppadoms we didn't finish. So if you want good food, ambience friendly staff , please don't suffer the same misfortune that we did. I will never return to such an awful unfriendly intimidating place again. Stick to Oxford or a good takeaway from a reputable business.

We had a meal for 14 people for one of our directors birthdays.

Food is amazing and the staff are incredibly helpful and polite nothing is too much trouble for them.

I've not tried any of the other Indian restaurants locally... I don't feel I need to as this place is perfect.

Friendly staff who provide a great level of service. Food is fantastic and nice interior. Always been busy whenever I've been which generally makes for a great atmosphere.

Amazingly authentic and great food. Unfortunately the insistence at the time of paying the bill on a bigger tip (already given but only 10%) reminded me of the pushiness on more starters... Great food, service could be a lot better.

Over the years The Shaan has served consistently good curry and where others have sadly closed, The Shaan is still going. We had a very good meal and glad to see it was busy.

On 7/01/23 me and my friends went for dinner at this restaurant. The service was really poor and the attitude of staff was terrible when we declined to order any drinks. They were forcing us to place an order we told them couple of time don’t want any drinks the person whispered and walk off. We waited for almost 20 min for next person to come and take the order. The food was okay (not so good neither not bad ) . At the even they forced to pay the tips. I never suggest this restaurant for dine in .

I got a chicken kebab for over £4, you would expect more then just barly grilled bland chicken mince. Also chicken with peppers again is bland chicken mince in a ring of a pepper. My mistake for expecting a chicken kebab roll with sauces in naan bread but for the price I expected more. This dish of two rolls of bland chicken mince and 3 stuffed pepper rings cost over £8!
