Alessi Indian Restaurant & Bar

Recently read that Alessi had been named the “Critic's Choice Restaurant of the Year at the 2022 English Curry Awards.” As the place is about 20 miles away, decided to visit tonight with a friend to mark a birthday.

The atmosphere and setting was lovely and the service was perfect. As for the food, it was delicious and delightful with agreement that return visit is on the cards in the near future.

Excellent food and service, ordered the Lamb Jalfrieze with a special pilau rice and cheese nan tasted really really good the portion sizes were very generous and filling, the service was excellent we were served by a young man named Charlie who was very attentive, polite and looked after us.

Really lovely food here. You could really taste all the flavours - not just the heat. Best curry in a long while. Very good value too.

Went here with a group of friends, Amazing food and attentive staff. Great atmosphere can’t fault the place. They have recently won multiple awards and I can see why as the food and service is truly amazing.
A must try if you’re visiting stoke.
Ps: I recommend the Garlic Chicken chilli

Visited on the 3 December with friends, we hadn't booked and dropped in on chance.
Although the restaurant was busy the staff were very helpful and managed to find a table for us.
The staff were very attentive and welcoming and always available.
We all had starters and poppadoms to start.
I can highly recommend the salmon tikka which I had. My friends had the Lamb balti and butter chicken, all enjoyed.
Again I cannot praise the staff enough, always on hand but never over bearing, all a credit to Alessi Audley.

Beautiful food and very friendly staff. Service is unforgivably slow. We waited an hour between our starter and main course.
Such a shame and I won’t be returning due to this. People came in an hour after us and left before us.
I was about to leave but my partner nipped the toilet and the food came. 2.5 hours we were in the restaurant.

We called into Alessi on a night out with friends. We were made to feel very welcome.
The restaurant is spotlessly clean, which is always a must!
The festive lights and christmas tree in the village are absolutely beautiful, which added to the whole ambience of the restaurant.
The food was superb. We had salmon tikka, which was very tasty, balti, which my friend said 'was the best he had ever had' & we girls had reshmi butter massala, my fave, which my friend said was just tender & perfectly spiced. Chutneys all home made, starters 👌 wine 👌 cocktails 👍👌🍹

Superb quality and service from the team at the Alessi for a family gathering. Food was great quality and very tasty. Jake and the team did an excellent job. Would highly recommend the venue.
