Koloshi Takeaway

Good level of spice in the jalfezi but chicken pretty bland and dried out, sauce seemed to have split/curdled. Also received pain naan when a chapati was ordered.

2h delay between ordering food and receiving delivery. Unable to contact the restaurant to find out what was going on. Finally got through to be told that we were too far away (we are under 5 miles away). Food cold on receipt. If your radius for delivery is below 5 miles I suggest that you do not accept orders from these addresses. Your prices are high and when combined with the £6 delivery fee, I'd have expected a much better service.

After being recommended to try this place out we ordered food for 4 last night. The process was arduous. Cost over £50. Delivered an hr early. Decided to place in oven to keep heated versus sending it back. Phoned Koloshi to tell them. Blame was squarely put on the delivery driver. The fact the t/away had been prepared far too early seemed to be missed. Feedback from diners. Jalfrezi was ok. Bhuna was ok. Chicken korma was 'edible'. Lamb korma (mine) was close to revolting. No flavouring at all. Colourless. Both korma's were placed side by side and there was definitely an immediate visual difference. The lamb chunks were tender but the likely explanation on the sauce was someone forgot to add any kind of seasoning full stop. Poppodums fine. Rice and naan bread ok. Cauliflower baji tasted as it should. Hugely disappointed with our first order from Koloshi. Embarrassed to offer our friends the food. At around £25 per couple certainly not good value. I resorted to eating toast as i was so hungry. Needless to say first and last patronage of Koloshi kitchen which is such a shame because we were expecting quality and a fine meal.

We have visited the Koloshi restaurant on numerous occasions, and have never been disappointed. Since we heard they were opening up a take away, we have been keeping an eye out for it. The food is just as good as the restaurant, quality meat and flavors. Definitely the best Indian cuisine in the area by far. Would highly recommend giving them a try!

Really nice! Usually go to the one just coming out of Cheltenham so when I saw they opened one in Cheltenham I had to try! 10/10 food was perfect you may pay a little extra compared to other takeaways but 100% worth it

Chicken was cooked sensationally, but unfortunately that does not make up for the rest of our order.
Ordered for home delivery and was really shocked by how dreadful our first time trying Koloshi was.
The rice was extremely dry and tasteless, the samosas were limp and lacked any crisp, the butter chicken was grainy, bland, dull, not at all vibrant with flavour and it tasted store brought as if it were from a jar!
Unfortunately, we were left feeling repulsed after eating after discovering what looked like an insect in one of the dishes. We understand that authentic Indian and south Asian cuisine use an array of spices and herbs but this was something we had never seen before.
Other reviews have mentioned how food from here has been 'greasy' or left a 'bad taste in my mouth' and this is what we experienced this evening. Not pleased wont ever be ordering from here again.

First takeaway from here, it was delivered on time and amazing flavour. Definitely will order again.

Ordered a paneer korma and the sauce was as runny as milk and completely tasteless. Would not recommend
