Have Been ordering samosas from here for many many years. They are delicious, fresh, good pastry & taste is spot on.
I would say one of the best in the midlands for samosas, However, unfortunately everything else isn’t up to standard. The Indian sweets are dry, stale & not very nice in taste. Also the place could do with a makeover.

I have visted this shop several times in the last 6 months to buy savouries for my aunt who lives in Wednesfield..and I have always found that the male person serving is always very miserable and abrupt. I believe he is the owner. I am not used to this kind of behaviour. The shop also does not look clean and tidy..I would not recommend this shop to anyone and will definitely not be ever going back to that shop again after a recent incident..... My aunt was handed a piping hot curry in a foil container who's lid was not on properly, so when she came and sat in the car, it leaked and went on her nearly scolding her, at which point she dropped the container on the floor and the curry went on the mat...luckily she did not burn herself...so when I went back to the shop to advise them that the lid was loose and about what had happened, the male owner showed no concern for my aunt and instead was very rude and condesending to say the lid was not loose and it was our fault for dropping it. This rude arrogant man was not prepared to listen and admit his mistake, and then on purpose he made me wait a while before he went and heated up some more curry. Again it was piping hot in a flimsy foil tray and in a thin carrier bag, and not upright in the bag, so when I tried to straighten it in the bag, infront of other customers he was rude and raised his voice to comment on how I was holding the bag......how dare he speak to me like that....at which point I walked out angry and frustrated at the way I had been spoken to.
This owner clearly needs to sort out his arrogant and rude behaviour...the curry had again leaked on the way home as it was in a cheap flimsy foil container for a piping hot watery curry......my local shops use sturdy plastic containers. I would never recommend this shop to anyone.
However I would definitely recommend Uppal Sweet Centre, Dudley Road, Wolverhampton.... lovely clean, tidy shop and lovely pleasant, polite staff and best of all tasty delicious fresh food.
I would sugguest staff at Sweets and Snacks should strongly consider improving their customer service and maybe spend a little bit more on sturdy plastic containers. I am a strong believer in good customer service, it costs nothing to be polite. I would point out the one star is for the lady who served me twice previously, and was pleasant on both occasions.

Samosas are their specialty and they do them very well. Recommend the Vegetable samosas: only 35p per samosa. Their chutney is okay but samosa is definitely worth it.

Good food at a good price.
Sweets can be a little hard (not fresh) sometimes as well as some of the other snacks.
Meat samosas and chicken samosas are a little disappointing as they are mainly made with potatoes instead of meat so you feel short changed compared to other Indian food shops.

Fish pakoreh old and greasy shocked at the portion size for 4 pounds!! and they would even sell this full stop old food let alone for 4 pounds shouldn't be giving away food like that for free. I expected it to be fried fresh or of not fried fresh at least looking and tasting fresh and new small and over greasy. Might bring back for refund
