My favourite vegan place in the UK!
The food is wonderful, the Service is fantastic and the price is very fair as well. Every time we order we are looking forward to it days in advance.

We originally ordered the Planet Happy Meal for 3 of us to share but had 2 extra guests at short notice and V-Giyan were more than happy to add extra dishes to our original order. The food arrived promptly, was very easy to heat up and, most importantly, tasted delicious. What we chose was fairly mild but we will definitely try some spicier dishes next time. Well done V-Giyan and thank you for fabulous service and food!

We have been ordering from V-Giyan for several months, having decided that we need to reduce the amount of meat we eat, but still want to eat really tasty, healthy food.

We have tried most of the menu and have introduced several friends, sometimes not even mentioning that the food is vegan. At first we always included plant based meat alternatives but more recently agreed that we generally prefer the vegetable dishes anyway. As an aside, the plant based “chicken” is a very good substitute for the real thing. Guests seem to like the food as much as we do - and it’s never a compromise to think there is no meat in it!

V-Giyan menu is interesting and varied but also small enough to try everything over several orders - our favourites are the chana and mushroom ones currently - and not forgetting the sprouts! The sharing garlic naan breads are great and the starters are delicious, particularly the samosas and bajis. I’m not so keen on the texture of the tofu paneer and personally not keen on the “lamb” either, but it does have a very similar texture to real lamb (which I don’t really like anyway!).

The food is delivered chilled when they say, by very polite and smiley people and you simply have to heat it through when you are ready. Most of the tubs can be microwaved but the starters and breads are best heated in the oven. Great for dinner parties - no one would know that it was delivered chilled and it seems to be really authentic food that even feels quite healthy!

Best of all, the portions are generous and we always seem to have some left over for lunch the next day.

One tip is to order a day or two in advance (you choose when). On the weekend, they can get busy and sometimes delivery availability is the next day. As the food is chilled, you can also have it delivered the day before and put it in the fridge.

Highly recommend you give it a try.

Keep up the good work V-Giyan, we’re looking forward to new flavours when they come, too.

Once again delicious food was received from V-Giyan. Delivery time was between 4pm and 5.30pm but came just gone 4pm. Delivery driver was the owners dad - a lovely smiling man. Ample food for 6 people. We shared it amongst friends and finished off the left overs the next day.

All the food was beautifully cooked and we just had to heat it up.

We will definitely use V-Giyan again 😀

Great vegan food--each dish is special and made with care. Incomparable to the standard fare online. I recommend for all those who like homemade, healthy and dare I say, artisan-ish Indian food.

This was a revelation, we are not vegan or even vegetarian but the description sounded so mouth watering that we just had to try

I wanted to make sure that it was possible to deliver and received a friendly and helpful response so went ahead and ordered a good selection of dishes

Unlike ordinary takeaways you have to pick a slot but the food is delivered fresh and needs heating up and will keep for a couple of days so best to think ahead when ordering

It arrived very nicely packaged and presented and was lovely food, we thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful!

Forget your typical 'Indian' meal - this is the real thing and full of surprisingly different flavours and textures

A very enjoyable experience that we will definitely repeat!

Different, tasty, vegan food. Nothing oily, all healthy. Go beyond the ubiquitous 'Indian' takeaway, try something genuine. We're so glad we found this family run firm and totally recommend it.

Delicious, fresh vibrant food. Lots of different textures and complex flavours. Dal makhani was one of the best I’ve had, and the “chicken” tikka masala was a real hit with the family. Love the ethos and love the food. Win win!!!
