The Eden Centre - Blaenau Gwent

My family and I booked for a Saturday, 12.30 session. It was our first visit and our last. Upon arrival we were told there was a party so if we wanted food we would have over an hour wait from when ordering on the app. If they know they are going to be busy they should prepare ahead of schedule, it is a booking system after all.
I took my additional needs grandson who is 3 into the under 5s area. For his first time I went on the slide with him. He cannot walk or communicate properly. On the slide a child roughly 6/7 came directly behind me unsupervised, kicking me hard repeatedly in the back.
There was an adult male running up the main blue slide so naturally children began to follow suit. After speaking to a member of staff, I was told that it’s not there job to supervise the children - true, however, there was little encouragement for parents to supervise there children.
It was so loud in there you could not hear the speaker system announcement.
We ordered food. It was extremely overpriced, however it was lovely. We were not impressed however when a member of staff started hoovering by our feet and round our table whilst sat there.
My husband and daughter also used there toilet facilities but were both horrified in the cleanliness of them. They don’t appear to check them regularly and they weren’t signed to say they had been checked through out the day.
We shall not be returning!!

The team went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and everything was to our satisfaction with the party.

The kids had a fantastic time and really enjoyed their food.

The adults also loved the food and the food app was simple to use.

We are already looking forward to the next birthday party for the kids and we will definitely be back real soon!!

We had the chance to speak with the owner while at the party which was great. We love your generosity with the local community and education project.

05/11/22. Birthday party for my little girl who turned 6. Great facility, more than enough for the kids to do. Great host, very welcoming & professional. Which gave the adults time to relax whilst the kids run riot & enjoyed themselves!.. Smiles all round off them. third time booking for us, Will book again for next year.

Best softplay centre near pontypool. We come here regularly and absolutely love it! The staff are all so friendly and helpful, there is so much for the kids to play on and do whilst covering all ages. It's always really clean and the food is great value for money! Also the price is so affordable for a 2 and a half hour slot, you definitely get the most out of your money! I can't recommend it enough!

Good play centre but be aware that they now require an account to be created and use of an app for ALL food/drink purchases inside. As there is no overwhelming reason for this to be the case other than selling your data it would be best to be aware of this before you go and avoid if you prefer privacy.

2nd visit and by far the worst! First slot of the morning but place very dirty...toilets were disgusting, urine on toilet seat and toilet roll all over floor. Disappointed in all areas of the place. Bit gobsmacked with all the dust around, crumbs and dirt. Considering it's a place for children from babies to older it was awful. Really dark and dingy up on the top of the activity centre, shabby play things which were split or broken. Obviously not checked very often.
Other soft play centres will be used in future

Some of the kids stuff is broken also some things are missing parts. food is overpriced for the terrible quality. buns on the burger was dry no cheese on it. pizza was practically bread no taste and lack of topping seems to be all about making money. rather take my kid somewhere else next time for a better experience and less costly

Lovely visit to the Eden Centre as usual this weekend. We go every Saturday, my two little ones love coming here every week. Always great quality food and the staff work so hard every session. We will be returning as usual on Saturday! If you haven’t tried the Eden Centre I would highly recommend it and you should definitely visit here :)
