Completely confused with this company, seems impossible to buy a kitchen from them and I can't work out if this business can be bothered or not.

We made initial contact with them having seen one of their advertisements and went to their Padiham showroom, really nice, clean and tidy - great first impression. We arranged for someone to come around to take initial measurements for our kitchen - Sarah showed up, very professional, took the measurements and advised that a kitchen design mock-up would be produced and quote provided early on the following week. Great stuff, we didn't realise that we would get a computer generated mockup of what the kitchen would look like, was delighted with the service up until this point.

Until.....

...nothing!

Absolutely nothing happened from here. After leaving it for a good period of time, I e-mailed to find out if the quote had been completed, a few days later I got a reply advising that due to days off it hadn't been completed and that it would be ready for the next week. Next deadline passed, still nothing, so I e-mailed again - ignored.

Telephoned the Padiham branch, spoke to a chap who said he would get to the bottom of it and have the person handling my quote contact me that same day - nothing.

Waited another week, telephoned the Nelson office, I will get the person dealing with this quote to have it sorted they said. A few days passed, nothing. No response, no reply, zero communication, zilch.

Four weeks after the measurements were taken, we had enough of hearing nothing back - our feeling is why don't you save our time and yours, tell us if you do not want the work - somebody will. We telephoned the company to tell them that we are trying to support local small business and that after waiting for so long we just wish to cancel, the lady on the phone seemed indifferent and it was cancelled, no apology, nothing.

All dates, times, targets were set by this company. We've been completely flexible. Just feels like alot of overpromising and underdelivering. I do feel like I've dodged a bullet though, if it's this difficult to give you our money I do have to wonder how difficult getting a kitchen installed by you must be.

Contacted a national company the same day as cancelling this one, viewing booked and quote provided in under three working days. Kitchen will be fitted in no time.

What is the point of opening your doors, Taurus?

Good service and good quality. I asked them to quote for a kitchen as they are based very near to my home expecting the price to be much higher then I could afford. I was pleasantly surprised as their quote came out cheaper than quotes from high street diy superstores. Very pleased with the overall look and quality.

The workshop staff are also soo helpful. Helping with all our questions and ensuring our kitchen was a perfect fit.
