Nino's Restaurant

I did go a while back as you can see from the date in the pictures so i will be talking about my then visit. The staff were very friendly, food was very good, pricing was decent for itallian restaurant. They also offer complientary breadsticks which are actually very nice and sweet. The only reason i dropped it by one star is because their mocktail selection is very poor. Im not even a fan of the flavours in this mocktail but i like mocktails with my food and this was the only option haha, hopefully when i go back in a month or two they will have added more. Keep up the good work

The food was ok, but I've had better Italian food. May of been my choice of dishes but I wasn't blown away. Took 45 minutes after the booking time for us to finally sit down for the meal, too.

We went last night after about 4 years of avoiding the restaurant due to its food becoming less than satisfactory. What a change!! The improvement to the last few times we went was massive! The atmosphere was great, the place was busy but we were looked after very well by happy staff. The food was great, every dish ordered was devoured. Fantastic meal and we will be going again! Welcome back Nino's..

Really lovely Italian restaurant. Had some delicious mushrooms to start and then a fantastic calzone! Food was delicious, service was excellent and it is a very friendly atmosphere.

I am writing this review about this restaurant to express my bad experience and such a big disappointment that me and my family got from visiting this place.
I want to mention that me and my partner and our both kids one age of seven months and the other one age of two and another friend of ours we have decided to go out for a nice meal considering that we cannot afford such things anymore as it’s hard as it is with all the living costs rising and considering that my partner has been in mat leave for nearly two years now so we have made an effort to go out with all these factors and hoped for a nice Tuesday evening ( avoiding other busy days as it’s hard as it is going out with two such young kids )
We have spent about two hours being there and the children’s have been as settled as they can be.
After we have paid we were getting ready to leave but it took us time as we had to clean after the kids. In a space of ten minute the two year old child has started running around the restaurant but I have always been behind him to make sure he’s safe, he has done this for about 5 minutes, the restaurant didn’t seem too busy so I just let him consume some energy as he has been behaving and sitting at the table for nearly two hours.
At some point this employer called Paulo stood in front of my child to stop him from running and turned around to me and stated with a rude tone “ There is other people eating here “, at this point I couldn’t believe how rude he has been. I have then stated that this is not a comment to make especially as no client has come to him to mention any disturbances and that the child is two so this is not fair at all and I consider that there is no need to say this as we were just about to leave anyway. Why did you ruin our family time Paulo ? Do you even have kids Paulo ? I hope when you would go out next time someone to ruin your night as you did for my family and made us feel disgusted that there is people like you. And above all who are you to stand in front of my child to stop him ?
Unfortunately I might have been harsh however I want people to know that if you plan a family night this place is definitely to avoid as it’s not a family friendly place !

Enjoyed a family meal here on the 7.8.21 fantastic food great prices ,have a wide range of meals to choose from. a very friendly atmosphere and staff set a high standard of service, will be dinning here again 10/10

Such a shame, food was good but we'd booked a party of 18 for my sister's 50th and was put on 2 tables miles apart so impossible to interact, 1 young man on the bar serving cocktails, mocktails etc so lengthy waiting times felt so sorry for the staff,

Had a 3 course meal and was on a special offer they have monday to friday, food was lovly and the servise was bang on very quick, highly recommend and will be going again if ever up here for work again.
