THE best restaurant in Barrow: fab food, fair prices, perfect Sicilian house red, bubbling atmosphere. MATT provides spot-on service, always finds us a great table.
Can't wait to go back...

A brilliant bust Italian food, much better than we found in Sardinia! Gorgeous "rippy bread" (crispy pizza base starter loaded with garlic and oil) and always excellent freshly cooked mains. A regular delight. We'll done, Salvo

Paid over £20 for two pizzas and chips. Looks good but pizza is very greasy and tastes bland. No salt or anything, and idk if that a thing but wasn't cut too, and because we were staying in a hotel created a problem....

One of my favourite places to eat in Barrow. Tasty selection of pastas and pizzas

Always delicious food. Staff are always rushed off their feet and busy as but still find time to be attentive. Busy, noisy, social atmosphere. People enjoying their food in a socialenvironment. It's chatty and quite noisy but that is the charm of a social environment

As always in salvos tue food was fine, same menu they had over a decade ago when I first visited. Only problem is the volume inside, its always busy but with the music and general noise levels it's a bit of a put off. If you haven't already give Mario house a try just 200 yards away . Overall it's fine, food and price are consistent with salvos .

Food was excellent, and the service was pleasant and efficient. Only slight downside was the noise from all the family gatherings. Would thoroughly recommend.

Thought I'd try salvos seen as though a lot of people rate it, jeez what a waste of 21£ that was pizza was mediocre at best, toppings were good but the base had the structural integrity as a wet paper towel, and was so greasy with oil America might come and invade our house. The "ribs" Di salt and pepper were about 80% fat, fat is in the left of the tray one rib left I can't be arsed with. Cheesy garlic bread was okay but just as greasy as the pizza, both managed to get through the grease proof paper, safe to say I won't be going back again. The other got pasta n said it was okay
