What a find! Kasia is a wonderful host, the dining room is cosy and welcoming and the food and wine was delicious. We’ll definitely be back when we’re in the area again.

We first visited Hathaways a few years ago and were taken with the beautifully prepared delicious food and the friendly and personable experience. We visited again in June 2022 and nothing has changed. Highly recommend.

Hathaways is run by Sandro and his wife Kasia. Sandro the chef and Kasia front of house. Their restaurant only has 10 covers so the service is very personal. The food here is absolutely wonderful! It’s a fantastic experience and I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to have authentic Italian cuisine that is actually brought out to the table by the chef! It’s served with such passion for good quality food and love. For me such a privilege to have experienced. It really is unique and very special indeed.

Once again, great food. A standout was the Cornish sole which was cooked to perfection and simply delicious. Having said that, all of the courses were excellent!

Beautiful little restaurant with a really personal feel. Fantastic atmosphere with lots of interesting items of decor. Knowledgeable and friendly service. It was lovely that the chef came through to greet us and check all was well.

Excellent. Small, family-owned restaurant. Once inside and sat down you know immediately it's going to be a nice evening. First class food and drink, very personal service. And at a reasonable price too. I thoroughly recommend this place.
