Marenghi's Restaurant

Went for a meal with my wife, as we had a gift voucher, never been there before, but what a surprise, the setting created an Italian atmosphere and the food was superb, the taste, the freshness and nice and light! We had a couple of bottles of wine, which complimented the food. Desert was really nice, I had the Rhubarb cheesecake, very light! We had a chat with the owner/Chef after and it was obvious the passion he has for cooking and was very welcoming. Can't wait to go again!

In my very humble opinion the best coffee in Newport. Lovely cafe authentic feel, surrounded by every type of pasta in existence. Food is also very good, give yourself time as it's all freshly prepared. However, while you wait you can have some excellent Italian beer. Family run business.

Visited for lunch with my daughter, we both loved the Carbonara. Excellent friendly service & reasonably priced. Definitely returning to try out other dishes very soon.

The restaurant has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere that you don't find in chain Italians. Good food, good service and great prices!

Amazing service and food . Very reasonable priced and nice to see lots of gluten free choice. Highly recommended to go. I would ring to book a table. If you have special diet requirements they are very helpful.

An early Christmas meal with the other half. Marenghi's is a quintessential little Italian restaurant run by lovely people. We were looked after perfectly as always and the food was superb.

Fantastic food, wonderful ambiance, amazing customer service, and right on our doorstep! Definitely the best food we've had in a long time and we even picked up a couple of bottles of passata to take home. We'll definitely be back!
