Best Taste Caribbean Takeaway

Always good home cooked food from this takeaway joint. Good service, not always fast. But well worth the wait. Always something to be told from this shop some good valued advice from the owner.

I always drop in if I am passing by for a decent lunch. Long may it be open and happy service.

We were tempted in by the smiling owners, offering a copy of the menu. Once inside we were interested by the various fried dumplings / festival, and a main of jerk chicken, rice and peas plus coleslaw. The chicken was delicious - just the right amount of spice, and tender - the homemade coleslaw side added a tasty cooling element. The rum cake is clearly home made, and the Guinness punch was a hit! The whole meal was very good value for money. We will definitely be going back.

I've had vegetable and also beef patties, a chicken soup and also a curry from this place and the food was just like in Jamaica - only thing missing was the Caribbean sunshine outside. Rich patty filling with a lot of flavour - not greasy at all - and that amazing yellow flaky pastry which just makes it. I shouldn't have started writing this review because now I'm hungry for patties! :D

Nice food and portion size, but the next day it I felt like I had slight food poisoning.
My be hygienic issues with the cooking 🧑‍🍳 area I think 🤔

Tastiest Vegan food on Caledonian road and I always feel great after eating food from here. Ask for the Callaloo with rice and peas. Healthy food shouldn't taste this amazing! Always great and friendly customer service!

Very disappointed with the meal I purchased today. There was more bone than meat and the dumpling was hard and tasted stale. I tried to look past it because I was hungry but here I am now having to eat something else and type this review.

Ordered through their website at roughly 5:30pm (and payment was taken) for a pre order 8pm comes around and no word from the restaurant, tried calling multiple times and won’t even answer the phone, feel scammed out of over £50, just avoid.
