Henry Hallpike

Went here because it is local to where I live and I needed some earrings fixed. The earrings were my mothers and are one of my most treasured possessions. I was a bit concerned with taking them somewhere I had never been before but the lady at the shop was very sweet and helped me fix them on the spot. The shop also had a really eclectic collection of antique jewelry. It was hard to stop myself from shopping while I was waiting. Two weeks later and I have had no problems with my earrings. Beautiful shop with lovely staff!

Very clear advice and fast service.

I had attempted to change the battery on my watch during lockdown. After inserting the new battery, it didn't start.
Eventually, I had the change to bring it to Henry Hallpike. Dominic had a look at it straight away. Very politely and patiently, he explained the damage that I'd caused. This explanation wasn't to criticise me but to explain that there was a risk of further damage if he was to put the battery in properly.
He was so clear in his advice that I felt that he could be trusted to try and change the battery without exacerbating the issue. He disappeared into the back of the shop and managed to deal with it all in a matter of minutes.
The charge for doing this was amazingly low and I enjoyed looking at all the clocks and jewellery on display while I waited.

Honestly one of the best warming jewellery shops I’ve ever been to. Welcoming from the moment I called to after completion, would highly recommend to everyone for future reference.

Very, very grateful to the wonderful team at Henry Hallpike. I accidentally flooded my inherited watch on the weekend. The manufacturer tried to charge me £2,500 and a 3 month wait on the 'off-chance' they might be able to fix it.
