Ivor Doble

I took my Rotary watch to Ivor Doble to have its battery changed. I waited a while, then the young man who was changing it came and asked me to come back later as he had a problem. I collected my watch on the same day. 3 months later the battery ran out. When I went back to the shop the woman that dealt with me said they didn't have any men working there and that the watch probably had a fault. I paid for a new battery but now, a month later, it has run out again.
I suspect the young man damaged the watch in some way but, of course, I cannot prove this. However, the woman's defensive attitude makes me suspicious and I will not use Ivor Doble again. You have been warned.

Just picked up my ring and I am over the moon! The design is exactly as I wanted and the quality is amazing. Greg has done an incredible job, so skillful and Jordan translated my ideas perfectly. Highly recommend.

I love this little shop. Always my first choice for something to buy or something to be repaired. I've just had a necklace repaired. Mandi was great at getting things started and communicating what I wanted done. Greg completed the repair, and its fantastic. My necklace was very worn and now it looks as good as the day I bought it. The stones have been reset perfectly. Im so pleased with it. Thank you guys.

Went into the cowick st store in Exeter to get my watch strap resized expecting to have to pay something for it the staff was very helpful friendly and kind and did it for me for free thank you so much as it was a birthday present from my partner I didn't expect it at all thank you, you made my day. 😉

I recently came in to your flagship showroom where I was greeted by a gentleman named Ryan. He was incredibly knowledgable and attentive and made my entire shopping experience incredibly enjoyable. He is an absolute asset and I am looking forward to coming back and purchasing my next bespoke piece from you. 10/10

Took my engagement ring here last Tuesday before lockdown happened and was met with a warm welcome. I definitely recommend Ivor doble to anyone who is looking for a quality jewellers.

Update: went to collect my ring today and it fits beautifully, the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Glad to see them back open after so long. These jewellers are amazing, if you are looking for some where to go for any of your jewellery needs please please give them a visit, you will not regret it. My engagement ring looks brand new!!
