Ordered painting in good faith as shown as available on their website - which they had already sold and did not fulfil. Then despite several restaurants for a refund and taking over a month I had to get PayPal to order the refund. Dire lack of service, lack of real time orders and dire attitude to customers. Be warned!!

A good selection of Peter chipendale originals, started collecting last year. An artist fast gaining pace in the art world both at home and international.

Very quick and helpful when I e mailed them. Good selection of quality merchandise. Would recommend

Terrible customer service - similar to other reviews below, I returned an item in mid jan and it took 2 months to have money returned and i had to open a dispute via PayPal to get money back.

Multiple calls and emails to the Gallery were ignored and on the occasions I did get a response I was always promised 'it will be today' or 'our accounts lady has been off', this went on for 2 months until I opened a dispute via Paypal who settled in my favour.

I then received multiple emails from them hassling me and complaining about the honest, factually correct and independent review I placed here. They show no remorse or shame for their shocking levels of service, I can only hope others were lucky enough to have their funds returned to them.

Penny, the owner of this gallery is a fantastic lady. Genuine and unfailingly helpful. I have bought a number of Georg Jensen pieces from here and the service from Penny has been exemplary. I live in Solihull in the West Midlands and have never visited the gallery in person but I plan to. Andrew no longer works at the gallery I understand. Keep doing what you’re doing Penny!!

Penny and the team at Howarth Gallery curate a great selection of stunning traditional and contemporary artwork, ceramics, jewelry and sculpture. I've always been welcomed and have enjoyed the warm and friendly atmosphere, without any pressure selling. The overall experience is outstanding.

If you’re looking for a gallery who sells defective products, fails to respond to your emails and gives you empty promises of a refund on 3 separate occasions having returned the item 5 weeks earlier, then look no further. The owner Andrew is still holding over £400 of my money which now effectively theft. On my last call to Andrew, I was told other people are also awaiting a refund so I’m not the only one. If you like inferior items sold by dishonest individuals, then this is the retail outlet for you.

Took delivery of my new Mackenzie Thorpe artwork today called 'Still Waters' and I am over the moon. The piece has such an impact on me and I cannot wait to get it on the wall (I will send photos).Delivered by UKMail early today, was very well packed and was emailed a tracking number when sent so I knew when it was arriving. Overall I could not fault the service, thanks.
