ASD Jewellers for Blue John Jewellery

Walked into many of the Jewelry stores in Castleton and ASD Blue John Jewellers stood out as being one of the most friendliest and informative jewelry shops in town. The prices are competitive because they cut out the middle man because they produce their own jewelry/mine blue John in the cave next door so for me that made the experience more authentic especially when purchasing Blue John jewelry. If you are not a big fan of blue John there are so many other types of gemstones available in the store and the employees are more than happy to answer any questions you may have (as we asked quite a few 😂) all in all a wonderful experience! Oh and the cave is a very short walk from the store.

Possibly the best jewellery shop in Castleton. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the shop is full of high quality products but doesn't feel cluttered.
Blue John jewellery is made on site, as well as a range of other gems and stones. Prices are competitive.
Better yet, they sell ice cream.

I placed an order for a contemporary double sided fob necklace on Saturday and it arrived today (Tuesday). It is absolutely beautiful with my choice of Blue John on one side and the amazing Bumblebee Jasper on the other side. I cannot recommend this company enough - superb service and craftsmanship.
Will definitely buy more items from this wonderful jewellers.

AMAZING PLACE- very highly recommend

Firstly, the rings are absolutely beautiful and amazing. I bought them as a little reminder of Sheffield as a city, and of course the peak district and the time I have spent there. Also, it was lovely to have the certificate showing that the stone was from where they said and also, was very intersting to read the history provided by ASD with the rings, explaining the origin of the Blue John stone.

I bought two of the cheaper rings that they offer, and even so, when I ordered I forgot to put a size on the second ring. Therefore, understandably, they just sent the second ring as the same size as the first. However, I sent an email explaining my mistake and how I wanted the second ring to be smaller for my little finger. This is where Paula (who has been great) emailed to explain that she can post me a ring sizer (although i didnt need it), and that if i just let them know my size, post the ring back to them, they can resize and send it back. Paula has been very good and timely at resaponding to emails, as well as very kind. I thought this was a great gesture considering the rings were much cheaper than other things they have to offer (around £30 each) but still give the same service.

ASD Jewellers made my sister cry with joy after having repaired her Blue John ring, a gift from her husband. On a personal level I found the staff very friendly & helpful even though I wasn't spending a lot of money... credit to them all.

I have a few of ASD pieces from visiting them in Castleton. This was the first time using online, amazing service and quick delivery. The package was beautifully presented and I love the certificates and even a treat in there as well ! I am again blown away by the quality, fit and beautiful simple design of my chosen pieces. I needed a new wedding ring and just love my new set.

I can’t thank Anthony and the team enough. I bought a blue john necklace from a local jewellers for my sisters 40th, and had spent a long time trying to find earrings to go with it. I loved a design with ASD and in the picture the stones looked a good match. I didn’t realise that the pictures were not the actual pair of earrings but a image of the design (totally Naive). The earrings arrived and unfortunately the stone looked completely different to the necklace, though gorgeous quality. I contacted ASD, along with a pic of the necklace, to see if they would be able to check if they had anything that was a closer match. In all honesty I didn’t expect they could or would but they replied almost instantly advising to return the originals and they would make new ones to match. They actually searched for stone specifically to match the necklace and the earrings arrived two days later. My sister was overwhelmed.
This company not only produced quality jewellery at a great price but the customer service was second to none. Will definitely be buying from them again.
