Excellent experience most of our dealing was through Barry. Great service and excellent workmanship with all the people and contractors that were used throughout.

Arranged a design consultation which was confirmed in writing. I live 22 miles (45 min drive) away from the shop but had been recommended by a friend so took the morning off work to have my consultation, having sent my plans in beforehand and having been asked a load of questions over the phone when I set the appointment. Despite all that as I sit down for my appointment and the design consultant tells me for the first time that there is a £200 fee for the consultation which is taken off the kitchen cost if I purchase. So I am being charged for a quote basically, which most kitchen places do not.

I pointed out that after a 40 min drive, having been told I can’t get a costing over the phone, having had a phone call talking to the consultant and email confirming the appointment, telling me there was a £200 charge for the first time as I walked through the door was totally unacceptable. Was told that was what John Lewis do so take it or leave it.

After I stormed out and calmed down a little, phoned head office, told the story, it was referred to someone else who also preferred me to drive away than do the consultation. Not pre-advising of a charge is a very shoddy business practice and they showed no empathy or flexibility to waive the charge. So I don’t care how good their kitchens are I for one will never use this crowd.

Absolutely in love with our new kitchen from In-exdesign! Couldn’t be happier with the service and the quality of the kitchen. Especially wanted to say thank you to Andrew and Chris - appreciate everything you’ve done!
