For my new place of residence I wanted a walnut worktop to be the main centrepiece of my computer/work desk. Rather than opting for a typical Ikea Karlby worktop, I wanted the real thing albeit cut to a 1.6m size.

From start to finish Mert’s team were with me and the finish product once oiled up looks superb. Thank you so much, I’ll look after this unique piece for a long time to come.

Mert and his team are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and honest. Everything from ordering to delivery was easy. I chose to get the walnut worktop for my home office desk and it came out great!

I used Osmo 1101D Extra thin oil and the top sits on a Autonomous Smart Desk 2 standing desk.

Very quick, timely with responses to questions and competitive pricing.
Only downside was the first worktop that was delivered hadnt been filled effectively so there were some gaps in the wood.
House of Worktops came back out, took the worktop back and delivered a brand new one a few days later.

After ordering a really sub standard ‘reclaimed’ wood sit stand desk from an Etsy store (and waiting 6 weeks for it to be made), I ended up returning it and decided to put in a bit more work and research a better option. I bought the frame separately but found House of Worktops to make the desktop. I could not be more thrilled with the outcome. They took my custom desktop design and made a beautiful job of it. Everything is exactly as per spec, the quality is amazing and took just over a week from order to delivery. Highly recommend them!
