Did a service wash on a thick mattress topper , was able to pick it up in a few hours.
Highly recommend.
I am livid that I have to try and claim via the courts. This business has no formal complaints procedure, claims not be a part of any trade bodies and cannot explain themselves. The jacket cost £1250 and the stains have now tarnished it. I would advise anyone to be careful with this business and look for dry cleaners that does the work in house. This cost me £25 to have cleaned and now it is tarnished. If you do bring your clothes to them, take photos right there and hold them accountable for mistakes.
The photos show pink smears on the jacket. Very unusual and in my opinion caused by them somehow. As I said, there were no such stains to begin with.
After full panic mode with our washing machine broken and waiting for the warranty paperwork to come, as a working family with 2 teens, I needed to find somewhere to do the washing asap. Contacted this local cleaners near home via webchat, arranged for the washing to be collected, another curve ball, working from home and not being able to get out!!!
Washing was collected at 4pm, delivered back to us all fresh and clean, all dried, folded neatly, at 7.15pm. Even bought the card machine to make the payment easily at the door!
Best customer service, great prices, literally couldn't have asked for a nicer, more helpful guy. Thankyou so much.. Couldn't recommend these anymore ⭐
Really highly recommended and fast and punctual delivery time.
After my wedding I brought in my 100% natural silk wedding dress to be dry cleaned. The dress only had visible dirt at the bottom of the hem, which I wanted to be cleaned. I took it in and they said that they can get it clean no problem. I then collected the dress after the first clean and found stains on the upper part of the dress which weren’t there before, so I raised this and wanted to meet with the owner to discuss what had happened. I was dismissed and ignored, therefore I attended the dry cleaner in person to try and speak to him personally.
When I attended the dry cleaners I noticed that there was a man working there and I asked him if he was the dry cleaners owner, he answered no he was not, so I asked for his name to which he replied that he was called Uma. I knew that the shop owner was also called Uma .When I confronted Uma and stated that the owner is called Uma so I understand that he must be the owner, he took it back and said yes that’s me. I raised the issue of my dress coming back with more stains after the cleaning with Uma, and he said that they send the items out to a 3rd party cleaner to clean these and he will ask them to call me.
I have asked what their policies are regarding these types of stations which they replied that they have none, which is highly disappointing. I then received a call from the cleaners where my dress was sent out, and all they did was point out their cleaning process, and made an assumption that the stains were wine stains. This is not true, because as part of the dress there was also an overskirt which I wore on the day, and luckily I haven’t washed that skirt nor dry cleaned it since my wedding, and there is no matching wine stains on the overskirt, there is no stain at all on the overskirt, in that place where they are found on the dry cleaned dress.
They kept my dress to assess the stains, and during this time they attempted to clean it an additional 3 times, without my permission! My dress is 100% silk and silk is a very delicate fabric, which needs to be treated with care, especially when it comes to chemical use. I was under the impression that they were undergoing an investigation of the stains and what exactly their were rather than attempting to clean it AGAIN. If they had asked for my permission I would definitely not allowed them to undertake further cleanings of my wedding dress without a further discussion of the stain analysis. I have now picked up my dress and after the 3 unasked for cleanings it has turned my beautiful white silk dress an awful yellow hue, from the strong chemicals. And they have completely ruined it. I am absolutely devastated, they are taking absolutely no responsibility for their mistake and are refusing any compensation.
After the first cleaning upon the notice of the stains, I suggested that I would be prepared to take compensation for the money of the silk to replace the skirt of the dress. Which he said no. so now they have further ruined the WHOLE dress and are not prepared to take any responsibility. This dress had massive sentimental value to me and my family. Not only was my daughter going to wear it for her wedding reception in 2023, but I was also going to shorten it and wear it on my every anniversary.
I have since seeked legal advice in consumer laws and Uma you have liability and responsibility for the garments in your care, no matter what 3rd party cleaning service you use. Therefore I will be taking further actions. And for anyone else wanting to use their services I WARN YOU PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY.
And Uma an advice for next time if you are unable to clean a delicate fabric don’t attempt to clean it just let the customer know that you cannot take this garment in. this all could have been avoided.
Cleaned my huge old curtains which gave them a new life, brought back their colour. Their quote couldn't be beaten, curtains were ready in a few days. Hope to deal with again
