Dandy Dipper Laundrette

So i was happy with the wash. .. However upon transferring my clothes to the driers the machine firstly short changed me of 50p when I'd put in £1.50 and accidently pushed the wrong button to return. Then, after having used 50p for a first lot of drying I then attempted to put another cycle on and the machine did not work.
No contact details to ring to resolve the issue (why is this)? I would like to contact the owner and see what had happened. If anyone is aware of a way I can do this or if the owner reads this I'd be happy to settle this review and ammend if this could be dealt with.

this is my regular laundrette - machines wash for about 30 minutes, a lot of the time it feels as though your clothes haven't been cleaned thoroughly, machines can be dirty too. sometimes the machine swallows up your money without putting the credit on the machine. its okay- expensive and not really worth how much you're paying

Robbed my money twice not happy man. Instructions over machines is for the wrong machines. SCAM. SCAM SCAM. GOING TO REPORT TO THE LOCAL COUNCIL. HAVE MADE A VIDEO.

Had a sooper bad day at this place... Most of their dryers aren't effective.. i had to run my toddlers clothes for 3 mins.. the washers are comparitively expensive...

Only put 50 pens in the tumble dryer as I put 4 pounds in and got 20 minutes

I have used this launderette for the last 10 years. I believe It recently changed hands and since then standards went downhill. However I have continued to use it in support of our local business. Last time I used it the drier doors were filthy- looked like not been cleaned for quite some time and this weekend my sadness turned to anger as I went on Saturday there was a sign stating “closed TODAY for maintenance”. I took my wet laundry home and returned again this morning to find again it was closed
with the same notices on the windows. How many days does “TODAY” mean??
I went to another launderette to meet a lady who was equally angry and said she had been a few times to find it closed with the same signs stating “Today”
This is a service industry and people can’t call or text to check if open or not because there is no telephone number!
If maintenance needs to be carried out this should be done outside of opening hours.
As a local and regular user of this launderette, I am being generous with my one star rating - very disappointed.

Had the issue others have mentioned where the paypoint ate the money, but the washing machine then decided to be out of order., leaving my clothes without a wash and no way of getting my money back. What brings the star rating down is the utter lack of redress one has in that case. There's no attendant at any time, nor is there any phone number displayed on site (nor listed here) to call in the case of any issues. A friend found a number listed elsewhere, but calling that number just led to very loud beeps. So there's no customer service to really rate. As conveniently placed as it is, I'll have to elsewhere.

The most expensive laundry I ever had being! It cost £5 to wash for 35 minutes maximum, and to dry one small load of clothes is around £8 !!!! The wash machine wasn't very clean and if you have to wait for the machine cycle finish be prepare to wear warm clothes as it is freezing cold in the laundrette room. I bought a drink from the machine at the laundrette to keep me warm but the drink was cold and I end up throwing it away. Never going to use this laundrette again!!!
