Wash House Launderette

Scummy place that's very run down. Not much choice in the area for drying your clothes, which is a shame. Machines are often out of service and can be very busy at times. No space to fold your clothes and you need you pound coins beforehand as there's nowhere to get change.

Good place to do your washing the only but is it is hard to find a parking space.

The small washing machine are very old Look rotten.. Need upgrading badly driers worked OK....

Service Wash sign there says Mon - Fri only between 9am and 5pm - but in reality it’s all locked up there at 4pm! So if you work and can’t get there between 9am and 4, then don’t bother and find another place!

Had to use this launderette as my washing machine broke down.
Looks like it had not long been decorated so it was nice and clean and tidy.
A couple of the machines were not working, but I suppose that must happen quiet often if they are a good launderette and busy all the time.
Price's were not bad for a wash and dry, and they use a short programme so you're not hanging around too long waiting for them to finish, but there is a nice little café just a few doors down to get a coffee and a bacon roll while you're waiting.

Machines wash very well ,shame the floor was very dirty

1 of 3 small washing machine broken past few month by now. (so... waiting time in the morning to use)
Dryer door often got malfunction again.

Washing costs £5/£7, Dryer is £1/8min.

There would be some issue to expect but still the lowest around area.

Worst launderette in the area. I wouldnt have even given the one star but there isn’t an option for less. We used to come here every 2 weeks but the last straw was when we put our clothes in the dryer and popped out (can’t wait inside due to Covid and one of us is clinically vulnerable). When we returned to collect our clothes from the dryer, one of the customers took our clothes out (with his bare hands) and placed it on the dirty bench! He started verbally abusing us and left. We contacted the owners who couldn’t have cared less- we had to pay for another round of wash and dry- never returning back again! Please be careful as your items are not safe here and owners do not care!!!
