After receiving a list of legal requirements from Mauritius Authorities where I am getting married, it was very hard to understand what is needed and where to get started. Chambers Solicitors (Mr. Surinder Uppal) really took the time and care to explain everything to us, whilst ensuring to save us money and time throughout the process. The fees are the best you will find anywhere in the area with amazing speed of service, flexibility and knowledge! We got the Affidavits completed and Notarised, on the same day and completely stress-free. Really grateful to Mr. Uppal for his knowledge, professionalism and help!
Raman at Chambers was my solicitor for my first house purchase. He left no stone unturned in ensuring that all important questions and points were covered. His communication and quality of work are unmatchable - I cannot recommend him and his company enough.
They are the sellers of a property I purchased. They were represented by Newbolds Solicitors, and I was represented by Raman Saluja of Chambers Solicitors.
Raman was professional, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and timely throughout.
The delays in the sale were caused by the seller illegally installing a combi boiler himself that was not signed off by building control, and not installed by a Gas Safe engineer. This required him to get a restrospective building regs certificate.
Likewise, the seller left illegal, half used anabolic steroids in the property on leaving, and he also took with him white goods that were part of the contract of sale which we will be pursuing through civil remedies.
Finally, Raman Saluja sent out numerous queries because the property was deemed a high flood risk by the environment agency, and is near to the HS2 proposed line. Many solicitors would never issue queries to this effect, yet this is testament to the professionalism, knowledge and expertise of Mr Saluja.
So, ignore the reviews of Jon Halpin and Georgina McGing - they simply have sour grapes because issues were exposed during the conveyancing process that any other solicitor would have missed.
5 star service all the way through.
Highly recommended for conveyancing.
