I have been familiar with the helpful O P LAW Team for almost twenty years since they were based in Loughton before they relocated to St Albans.

O P LAW has been my first point of contact for legal advice on different legal issues and not just with their specialities in Clinical Negligence, Wills, Probate and Tax Planning Strategies.

I have highly recommended O P LAW to my friends and I can recommend them to all reading this brief, but well deserved review.

Thank you O P LAW for all your help over the years.

Terrible experience. My details were passed on via First4Lawyers and within a few days a lady came to my home (which I found odd?) to get me to sign various contracts, none of which I was given a chance to read beforehand or at the time, and I was just told I had to sign them as the lady said she "couldn't leave without a signature". I found her to be very pushy and unprofessional - she nearly got me to sign one of the contracts that stated I was waving my 14 day cancellation period!! Hesitant that she was being very pushy about me signing LEGALLY BINDING contracts there and then, without me having read ANY of it, I asked to hold off signing that particular contract but was told I still had to initial it. Why couldn't I be emailed or posted the contract to read and then email/post it back or drop it off at their offices once signed? There were multiple red flags during this meeting and I was left feeling very uneasy about it all. My gut instinct was that something wasn't right so I emailed Steven at OPLaw (who First4Lawyers had given my case to) the following day to let him know I would not be going through with the claim and wanted out as I was within the 14 days. I wrote a lengthy email raising my various concerns and explained I felt coerced into signing the contracts during the meeting and instead of a response back, Steven insisted on calling me constantly despite never leaving a voicemail, which again I found very pushy and of a harassing nature. The next day the calls started again first thing so I emailed Steven again and asked him to respond via email and not call as I was at work - this was ignored but the calls stopped. I then had to email a THIRD time the following day, to ask him to confirm my case was closed and I got a very short 'this case has been closed' type email from Steven without any acknowledgment or apology for their aggressive behaviour and tactics or for the fact I mentioned I had felt coerced into signing the contracts I wasn't allowed to read through first. The reason I wanted a reply to my original email, via email, was because I realised that whatever Steven had to say, he clearly didn't want it in writing which is why he kept calling me instead. The fact I got such a short response after 3 emails, says exactly that. It reminded me of scammers and how they rush you into decisions to get money from you.

It's a shame as other reviews for this firm were good so perhaps I just got unlucky with Steven but if this is how OPLaw does business, it's not professional or particularly comforting. People should never be pushed into signing contracts they haven't been allowed to read prior to signing - I would've thought as a law firm they'd know this?? Their communication should be better than ignoring a clients emails and requests.

I’m so saddened by this company, I was let up the garden path for 7 years, as a genuine case, I was promised & promised & promised, I’m still suffering and spent months in hospital & all I can say is the solicitor, barrister & so called judge was paid off by the other side, I really hope you guys can live with yourselves, I will never ever trust the justice system ever again,

I was a client of yours if anyone wishes to contact me I will show them proof
