My elderly parents engaged Ms. Ganegoda for a family matter on a fixed fee basis. Ms. Ganegoda then refused to complete the work unless my parents paid her more money. She then kept monies that had been paid to her on account leaving my parents to fend for themselves just weeks before a final hearing. My parents have complained to the legal ombudsman and this complaint has been accepted for formal investigation. The backlog for such complaints is 2 years. Be very careful before engaging Ms. Ganegoda for any extended legal work.

When the investigation is conducted by the legal ombudsman, the depths of your unprofessionalism will be clear.
