Victoria at Woodwards Solicitors was recommended to us by our mortgage advisor. Thank goodness we took his advice. In what turned out to be a complicated house purchase Victoria was first class. Victoria is an incredible conveyancing solicitor who`s persistence and tenacity is amazing. She is professional, supportive and communicated regularly throughout the whole process.

We had a great experience with Woodwards when buying our house. Angela and Danielle were efficient and communicative throughout the process and acted with urgency when we were under pressure from the chain.

Poor communication, no one actually seems bothered about getting you in your home. A no chain purchase took 5 months. After raising a complaint they had the cheek to say they actually did a lot of work "for free" on fixed fee conveyancing.
Would not recommend to anyone.

Terrible I will never use again no communication, ignored e-mails I nearly lost the house I was buying because they took so long they were using the wrong e-mail for 5 weeks until I noticed on a screen shot from the vendor all the solicitors had to do was pick up the phone to confirm the e-mail address they had but no they just kept saying “well we’ve sent it “ when I eventually went to pick up the contracts to sign (didn’t trust them to post it) I was waiting in reception for 10-15 min before anyone came round from the back (they could see we were stood there through the glass) we read and signed the contracts then posted them through there letterbox ourselves so we new they had them for the next day a week went by and we still hadn’t heard anything it’s taken nearly 8 month to move into a empty house when at the beginning we were told we was looking at 3 month maybe less as it’s a straight forward transaction

Avoid if you want a professional company to deal with your house sale. This company are woeful in customer service and basic professional practices.
