We had another meeting with Janet at our property in March 2020 due to a year of nothing happening. She apologised for the lack of professionalism as she had been purchasing another business. I assured Janet that she would prioritise and focus on the case to sort things out this time. Another year later, and still, nothing had happened. I was contacted by another company purchased by Solicitors Title to state that they were going to be dealing with my litigation claim. A few months later, I was informed that the solicitor dealing with my case was leaving and that they would appoint yet another solicitor.
I contacted them back to inform them that enough is enough as I was so fed up with their complete unprofessional attitude. The crazy thing is that they said they wouldn’t release my documentation until I paid the fee of £960.00 for the work completed. I settled this fee in full; to this day, I still haven’t a clue what they have done in over two years and nothing to show for the price they charged.
Anybody seeking a professional from Solicitors Title I suggest that be very careful who takes up your case. I have wasted over two years of my life and have started all over again with another company.
Richard James was aware of his mistakes, but was so cowardly that he didn't share this information with anyone even though there may have been a chance to salvage the case had he done so, and he supressed this critical information for over 8 months until it was discovered by my new solicitor upon taking over the case when it was already too late.
It is almost impossible to believe that this sort of thing can actually happen, yet it has.
Needless to say I would not recommend this firm, nor Richard James, for anything.
