I have been in twice requesting help for suing another company against my business, the first time was to open a case and the second time was to ask why they hadn't got back to me, 3 weeks later they still haven't. The women on the desk seem to be inadequate of sending an email, DO NOT GO HERE

Very helpful and reassuring. I won compensation as part of a no-win-no-fee arrangement. The solicitor was efficient and effective throughout. When I had a further issue, my queries were answered in the usual friendly and timely manner and this helped a satisfactory resolution.

Our late Auntie sadly passed away on Boxing Day 2017. Over 5 years later (at the time of writing this review it is February 2023) and Maxwell Hodge have yet to finalise her Last Will and Testament. Our case has been passed between 3 internal solicitors spread across 3 branches (first with the branch in Heswall, then to Huyton and then on to West Kirby).
In my opinion, they have shown unimaginable levels of incompetence, an inability to keep us accurately updated on progress and a complete lack of urgency in bringing this matter to a close. It pains me that the lowest rating I can give is 1 star (a zero would be more suitable). Based on the service we have received, I would NEVER recommend this firm to anyone. They have made a complete Maxwell Hodge-podge of our case, don't give them the opportunity to repeat this on yours.
