In a word, incompetent. I had arranged with my solicitors to exchange on a property today and this had been agreed with Storrar Cowdry. I find out that Jane at Storrar Cowdry is on leave today and had not left the file with anyone.

Her assistant does not have authority for the exchange. This has been put back to Monday. Disaster and will cost me money in storage.

Rhian has a high level of integrity. In one transaction, she acts on both the bank lending my mortgage and myself. She gave unbiased advice to both the bank and myself. She laid down the facts and explained the legal consequences.

More importantly, Rhian acts on the best interest of me. She helped me to release a restrictive freehold covenant once and for all. This is a more troublesome procedure but it's better for the property owner because it fundamentally releases the owner from legal obligation. Thanks to her, I am now comfortably owning my home for the rest of my life.

I have a law degree myself, and property transactions are too important for me to leave it to any solicitor. Rhian is definitely the best, among the many others I have worked with. Thank you Rhian.
