If you are in a hurry and don't mind losing money while you wait, they are fine! Will knows his stuff and is a patient and kind professional. However, the entire branch is let down by the reliance on an admin team, none of which seem to work full time, or communicate with each other. This lack of communication and continuity, lead to administrative blunders, needless delays and frankly, staggering incompetence. It took several months for a straight forward sale with no chain and a cash buyer, that should have taken a matter of weeks.

15 months since we moved into the property and we still have no land registry certificate. The whole process was painful and communication very poor.

I went in today 1pm, they said they'd call me back. I got a call at 4.15pm, appointment booked for 4.30pm the same day. Papers signed in 15mins. Absolutely lovely service lovely solicitor, great price. 100% recommend, couldn't be more happier!

What a friendly, helpful team they are at Clayton Mott Solicitors. Having been in touch with several more local solicitors who were dismissive, expensive and unhelpful, I found Clayton Mott Solicitors in West Bridgford. From the initial phone call to a quick call back, I received nothing but professional, friendly communication. I needed my signature witnessed as I was selling a small plot of land in France following my husband's death. Our dream was to build a small house on the land but our dream died with Paul. Curtis Parkinson in Bingham wanted to charge me £175 for watching me write my name, but before that I was given a list of 6 hoops to jump through. Others simply said 'no.' I made an appointment to see Sheila Mott. While I was waiting in reception, several members of staff came into a hallway to use the photocopier or look for paperwork. They all greeted me with a smile and asked if I was being seen to. Sheila then arrived and we went into a private room. She read the relevant paperwork, witnessed my signature, had a personal chat with me and charged £5. I was so impressed that I will now choose them my house move next year and any other business in the future that will need a solicitor involved. I highly recommend this friendly, professional company.
