Yikes,I know they are under going work but I think a warning before paying would of been nice, no showers, toilets was filthy, the hand bar kept coming apart in the pool where my 4 year was holding, it's freezing walking across to the changing room as well as everyone seeing you naked, no private area to dress. It's only got a 2 stars as the staff was friendly. Also no where to put your keys etc safely so all at risk. Will not be returning unfortunately.

The swimming lessons it’s a nightmare fine if you have one child but if you have two there is no chance of getting you in on the same day have been trying twice a week for two months with no joy I even tried asking if I could put one in a lower group to be told that’s not possible yet there are children in the the groups my my children are in from the next group up because there’s no space they don’t even have a waiting list it’s just keep asking well there’s only so many time you can keep asking and the person who does it I’m sure doesn’t even look it’s just the same response each time

Told the wrong times for lessons, turned up when they said. They took the money and then said they were at different times and would need to wait or come back. Asked for a refund and the person behind the tile just shrugged and said use it another time... to top it off the site needs improvement. Can break an ankle on the steps...

Not even 1 star, the place needs serious investment. Haven't been since covid so decided to cancel, my last experience of the place:

I phone up and ask how I cancel they say I have to 'go up and complete a form', I asked if I 'could do it online then', she said 'no I had to go up and fill one out'. I went up, she gave me a piece of paper with an Internet link! shown so I asked if there was a form, she said I had to go online! She said i had to get the paper to cancel and i didnt even use it! What a waste of time, so here's a picture of the form I wasted my time getting (I didn't use the link as when I saw it was on the Internet I Google it!) If you want to cancel just follow the link... not normally this annoyed but seriously!!!???

Swam here with my kids July 2022. It was only £14.80 for a family, which I thought was reasonable. It's not a huge pool, but it's decent, clean and well staffed. The men's changing rooms don't have any individual cubicles thou, doesn't bother me but it was like going back in time!

In regards to the gym:
Pros: Lovely staff
Cons: Often quite busy, not cheap, depressingly slow water machine and almost always empty paper roll dispensers make it a bit frustrating. Also the gym would do well from staying open another hour. This time of year especially, as there’s always lots of us still training until it shuts at 9.

It's a bit tired despite taking forever to revamp the swimming changing rooms. Staff pleasant and helpful

Experience:
Amazing atmosphere like, its too good to be true (Grey Scale hallways) Honestly some paint wouldn't go a miss...

really really really friendly staff, when you ask one of them to sign you in. They just look you up and down. Customer Service is defo on another level of politeness and enthusiasm.

Even put my thumbs up and smiled when I left and they just gave me a blank look and did not say anything.
VERY welcoming STAFF.

Honest review:
The gym facilities are alright, The Gym* in Gloucester is like £12 a month and has way more to offer.
This gyms £40 a month and its just not worth this at all, its just the staff for me I cant lie, allot of reviews praise there (PT) staff,
which I can understand PTs are helpful that's there job.

But the receptionist on the other hand. They just don't have enough enthusiasm or politeness when you walk through the door, its not very welcoming or friendly, its literally like talking to someone who has there back turned towards you.

However there is a male receptionist who will say "Cheers mate." As you leave the door, which is nice.

I am just speaking on behalf of my, Personal Experience.

Clearly they do not implicate social equality standards, meaning they treat each person differently according to the reviews other people have left.

Overall my personal experience has been far from great.
Would recommend a different gym for the price such as DW, which has both friendly and welcoming staff as well as friendly people who will happily assist you if you ask them nicely.

This gym on the other hand, people will simply ignore you. What a wonderful environment.
