Only came here to do weighing my baby daughter where it seems clean and all good. Don't really use this library or Internet cafe at all. Bot it do look good and big. Great for children too.

I love visiting the library, have been since I was a child - the staff are very helpful, great selection of reads both in paperback and on the Libby app.
Events run regularly on line and on site.
Always plenty of childrens activities on offer, baby changing facilities and buggy parking.
Reservation service for collection is simple as is the self serve check out process.
Great asset to the city.

Well planned, accessible, light and airy and with a pleasant cafe opening on to Rougemont Castle gardens. The only real disappointment is that the shelving space for non-fiction/reference is far less than before the redesign, and being fragmented, can be confusing. Note: not everyone uses or can afford access to the internet.

Excellent location, easily accessible and what a fantastic array of amenities under one roof.

The FabLab is an excellent resource. Some.fantastic pieces of equipment being used in there.

Public PC's are available across 2 floors and there is a lift plus disabled parking for those with the ened to use it.

Take a look at the "adopt a book" leaflets as they're doing a fabulous job of preserving our older books that require some specialist TLC.

Really friendly service and fantastic help from staff. Good range of books and services and nothing seems to be to much trouble.

Please keep toilets clean. You must hire more staff for this and do an hourly clean. I mean that literally. Every hour the toilets should be cleaned because with the amount of people using them and sadly with the amount of people who are irresponsible when using them, the toilets should be cleaned hourly. Noise level is absolutely atrocious here. I understand there is a designated quiet area but why should one such as myself not be able to enjoy the bottom area if I want to? Security should ask people who have the speaker enabled on there phones when making calls to please turn it off. Also those who have the volume on their phone when watching something should be told to put headphones on. People chatting should be asked to whisper. The list goes on. If this library had a noise pollution test performed it would fail. Lastly as others have mentioned I also very much so agreed that the cafe manger (an Italian man?) is so rude and a grouch. I have noticed that since the first day I ever began to use the library. I don’t even order anything from there because of
this. A member of the public should not be disabled to use a part of the library because of a staff member. I remembered something else. When windows are open the curtains knock incredibly loudly against window. Please do something about this. It’s an incessant sound and intolerable.
